Went Halia to test the sound systems with bro- Johnathon & his gf (Kelly) in the morning.

Then went over to Tampines to meet BB.
While waiting for him, I shopped again!!! And bought a light grey top at Mulana selling at $19.90 . hahaa… wanted to continue shopping but BB then reached.

We went to Sea-horse to take a look at the pillows and sofa.
We ended up buying/ordering the Memory pillows (abt $19.50 each, Usual price: $79) and also the long sofa which BB’s mom quite liked ($949.50, usual price:$2399). Not sure why they slashed down the price by so much but it could also be part of their sales tactics. Hahaa… but it sure feels good to imagine ourselves getting a good deal. Hahah.So the delivery date is scheduled to be on 17 Oct. *hooray*

After the visit to Sea-Horse, we went to Serta to finalise some details with the sales-girl. We managed to bargain for 1 more sheep! Hahaha…

So.. our bed details would be: Missouri King sized bed Bedframe = S$3449
Free gifts: 2 pillows (+ 1 more free pillow from free lucky dip, so total 3 pillows), 2 mattress protectors, 2 sheeps plushies, and 1 bed bench .

Then in the evening, we also managed to find one cupboard that’s suitable to put my bags + extra clothes beside the main wardrobe! *Yippeee**

DIY Hair Dye Liese Har Bubble (20-9-09)

Today’s itinery is to meet BHBZ Gang at Jurong Point at 3pm to pass them the invitation cards for ROM as well as to catch up with the 2 moms-to-be.

Some final preview of my ROM Invitation envelopes..

Before I went for the ‘date’, I quickly did a fast DIY of dyeing my hair using the widely advertised “LIESE HAIR BUBBLE COLOR”.

It’s just so easy to use!
I thought it would be very messy & uneven cos of the foam and also because what the forum people had feedbacked…BUT no… it’s very easy and hassle-free.

I follow the instructions very strictly and the foam turns out to be very thick and 1 box is enough for my long hair (below bra). Hahaha… Saves me so much money!! Because the last time I used DIY hair color, I used up 2 boxes of dye.
But this time round, I only spent $15.90 and get my whole head dyed into a Marshmallow Brown color.. hahaha.. I love my new hair color now. :p

I’m gonna try different hair colors next time round!!

Oki, let me share with u what I did:
1) After mixing the 2 bottles of chemical solutions, it was said that we need to lather our hair with the foams within 20 mins before we let the colour set. The mixture foams very quickly, so not to worry. It took me about 15 mins to lather my hair into thick foam. Haha… and to prevent the foams from turning into liquid foam & dripping into my eyes, I kept on lathering my hair. Haha…*Note: Try to do it in open air area as the ammonia smell can be stinging to the nose and eyes. Wrap a long towel around your neck & back to prevent staining your clothes.

2) After the foam, I let the foams set for 30 mins. It was stated that the recommended setting time is 20 – 30 mins depending on the color intensity that I’m looking for. So I opted for 30 mins as I thought the brown color won’t be so obvious.

3) After setting, I washed my hair before I used the little pack of treatment included in the box. It’s my 1st own DIY hair dye (previously was dyed by my mom) and I love the even brown hair colour that it turns out to be. (*^_^*) Recommended to my mom and friends already! Haha…

Wedding Invites for AD Selection & Car Deco_Flower Bouquet (19-9-09)

Early in the morning, I woke up to prepare because today, we’ve got a lot of things to do since 7th month is over!
This is the time to start preparing for the Actual Day Wedding too!
Gosh…

Ok, so first thing, we went to Yitai Hotstamping to confirm and order our AD wedding invitations. It only took us about half hr in there and the girl told us she’ll send us the soft copy template next Thursday afterwhich, if we confirm to print, then she’ll go ahead.
We were told that we’ve to tie the gold strings to the cards/inserts ourselves! Haa… think gotta engage help of others to do! ^^

"Cards, Cards on the wall, Who's the prettiest of them all?"After the printing company trip, we headed to BBC to choose my AD bouquet, car deco and also to see the photos layout.
Turns out that the layout is very sweet and colourful… :)

Didn’t manage to get the soft copies that day for both the edited and unedited (extra photos we bought) though. Told Kim that I’ll collect them on next Thurs when I collect my ROM gown instead.
Xiaofen also told me that she’ll be adding a string of blingblings to the peach ROM gown.. haha..hope it turns out nice… ^^

Before we left for Orchard, we dropped by at Suntec's Travel Fare and guess who I saw? haha... Tay Ping Hui... Macho handsome guy! *drools*

After the selection, we went to Orchard’s Takashimaya to buy sweet wedding card. My intention was to use the card for the guests to sign. While browsing the many nice cards, I saw a very nice Prince & Princess Pop-up card and being the Princess-fanatic, I decided to buy it to add to the deco for the reception table. Hahaha.. so ended up, I bought 2 cards.

So the cards are settled and then we went to the basement and saw that there’s the mooncakes sale with many vendors! We ‘snaked’ in with the crowd and went around sampling different mooncakes. HAhaha… I find myself loving durians mooncakes this year!! And also the yam/pumpkin flavor mooncakes!! Alright..let me go dig out the pricelist/pictures before I post them here again…

Registry of Marriages - Wedding Docs Collection (18-9-09)

This morning, BB & I went to Registry of Marriages to get our ROM documents.
We took a taxi from Peninsula Plaza Hotel up to ROM because we thought it’ll be a far walk up the hill..but who knows..haha.. the driver said it’s very near only and the taxi meter didn’t even jump.. ahhaa… So we paid $3 for just sitting in the cab for abt less than 5 mins… *faints*

Alright, we were 2 blur sotongs and after reaching the place, we were like trying to find instructions on what to do next when this attendant came to us and told us to get Q no. first. Haha… *malu*

So there we are… we’ve to do a declaration in front of the officer before we can collect our docs.
After collecting docs, BB and I went to Funan Mall to have our Mac breakfast/lunch.
I ordered Mega Mcspicy! Haaha… end up, that evening, I had a very bad bloated stomach and felt dizzy and wanted to throw up.. think I ate too much even though after that Mac meal, I didn’t have anything else for the whole day! :p

I also finished the writeup on the wedding vows..
So, BB emailed JP the vows today and he replied saying that it’s beautifully written… kekek…. *blush blush*

Menu cum Table Name Cards (13-9-09)

My Menu/Table cards are ready! v(^o^)v
Yeah!~~ I took the whole of the afternoon till night to design and print them.
My creativity mind also sprang to work in the evening time as I was having some troubles with the page setup of Word doc and also the Photoshop.

Alright…pictures speak a dozen words… so here they are :)
My cards serve as both a Menu and Table Name Cards.

Before that, I also did a final touchup for the flowers for the Solemnisation Chairs!
The Pink/Blue ribbons ones are for Bride & Groom's chairs.
The Green/White ribbons ones are for the witnesses' chairs. ^^

I actually love what I created...hahaha...
Photoshop brushes are way to go!!! Hooray to them!

Though I love my creation, BUT, I still love the writings (I think this card also serve a 3rd purpose which is Thank you card :p) the best! HAHAHA...

Signoria Photoalbum Collection Day (12-9-09)

Ok, today, I’ve finally managed to get hold of the Signoria photoalbum.
There’s no soft-copies given to us but I’ll see if I can take each pic with my camera and upload into a slideshow format here :)

Anyway, talking abt the album, the portrait didn’t turn out very spectacular and also the quality of the album isn’t that great as well as I just noticed 1 page’s pic doesn’t stick fully to the album!

Arrgghhh… terrible…. Maybe that’s what u get for a free quality. Haa… but given their service & quality, even though it’s FOC, I also wouldn’t dare to recommend to my friends! *lol*

Dinner outing with the S.H.E.s (11-9-09)

Today had a dinner outing with the S.H.E.s…
We had wanted to have dinner at Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant at Orchard ION but alas, the queue was terribly long! I wonder how long we’ll have to wait for before it’s our turn.. *faint*..
So we decided to change our dinner place to a few shops beside it, called “OSAKA Hiroshima Ramen”.

Here’s some pics of the “Cha Shu Ramen” we ordered together with some mayo prawns and fried tofu.

Pardon me for the 3/4 finished mayo prawns and tofu..hahaa... too hungry at that time.. :p

After dinner, we had our dessert of Chocolate Fondue with fresh fruits @ Wheellock Place’s Coffee Club.
It’s a nice place to just chill out with your friends especially at night as it can be quite windy. Since it’s outdoor, u can also get to just relax and watch passers-by stroll by while enjoying your cuppa coffee/tea. :)

Darn.. I was so so very tired today!
I didn’t sleep at all for the whole of yesterday’s night!
I think it was most probably due to the caffeine effect that I had yesterday noon at Coffee Bean! Arrgghh… it was just so terrible…
U know that kind of feeling whereby u want to slp but when u close ur eyes, your mind is still very active and starts to think of many things to kip u from drifting to dreamland??

Blehs… terrible!
So today, I was almost like trying to fight a hard battle with “Mr Sandman” cos he’s drawing me to sleep during office hours!
Alright alright, I will let him win the battle when I go home and lie on my bed tonight!!! Hahaha…

Wedding Favors - Love Candies Jar (6-9-09)

Yesterday, I finished tying ribbons to all the favors jars, touched up on the shout-outs and also cut out all the little tags to be placed on the guests’ tables etc.
I was very bored at home alone cos BB had an assignment for the whole day. He only came back at around 9+pm and all of us, together with his cousins who came all the way from KL to Singapore, then headed to this restaurant somewhere near Bugis to have our very very late dinner.
Yawnz… that night, I only get to sleep at about 2+am.

Today, I bought a MM’s eyeshadow palette and Maybelline’s zeropore makeup base after much hesitation. Haha… I ended up buying cos there’s the 20% off sale at Watsons now. I had also bought an electric kettle jug on Friday as happened to pass by Isetan Tampines and they were having a sale. Bought my kettle @ S$19 after all the discount. Heee…..Yipee.. can start boiling water in office!! *grins*
After shopping, BB and I had a drink at Coffee Bean before I went home.

Flowers for Guests' Tables Part 3 (2-9-09)

hahaha.... my "Chap Chai" aka green leaves are completed yesterday! ^_^
This will end my project of the flowers...
Next thing to crack my head will be the 'scrapbook'..hahaa.... as well as tidy up/touch up/finalise those completed DIYs!!!

The green leaves stalks...hehee... really look like some kind of raw vege!!!

Yeah... Sandy previously had asked me to write down a wishlist for the ROM...haha...

so this Vintage victorian lamp below is one of the things in my wishlist!!!

The auntie's selling 2 sizes for this lamp : Big one (the one shown below) and a small one.

She's able to give a discount too but she said she'll only be here till 22 Sept!! *hint hint* isn't it just a nice time to buy ?? *hiak hiak hiak**

There's also other nice country-styled items on her push-cart and she's got a showroom at somewhere...err... I need to dig out the name card..:p

I can't take a proper nice shot of the lamp becos I'm secretly taking pic of it while she's busy. hahaa...

Anyway, the purpose of the wishlist is just so that guests won't end up buying 2 similar gifts.. keke... I'm still in the midst of compiling the wishlist but sent it out by 'mistake' today. *lol*paiseh paiseh... (^_^)p

1st Meetup with JP 30-8-09

**Note: Royal Readers..hee... you might have noticed and wondering how come my subject title of the entries come with dates.. It's because I sometimes don't update my blog so often, and also I usually write my entry in a word doc before transferring them to this blog. Haaha... So the dates are to remind/add as a note to me of when did I start on the DIYs etc.
So, don't be surprised when you suddenly see a whole chunk of entries within 1 day ! ^_^

Met up with our JP -- Dr Ho on 30 Aug 09.
Was slightly late for perhaps 5 mins due to rain and also because I rushed to the toilet halfway as I got a stomachache. *haha... marriage jitters**

Basically, Dr Ho's a nice and friendly old man who loves travelling.
That day, he wore a red “Holland American Inc” shirt so as to make it easier to identify him at the MacDonald at Serene Centre.
Understand from him that his job requires him to travel frequently as he needs to attend conferences or go other countries’ hospitals to visit patients. As he travels frequently last time, he likes to mix leisure with business. Can see that he really enjoys his trips. ^_^
He’s basically a retiree now and he’s doing this JP as a part-time job. He also told us that he’s an alumni of NUS.
His son is also living and working in US, that’s why usually during the dec period, he’s away from Singapore.

Gotta help to know more about him as I'm also helping James (who's getting married on 23rd Dec 09) to find a JP. hehe..
Anyway, Dr Ho told us to come up with our vows...so... we've got to start cracking our heads again!!

Got home and started to 'operate' my printing machine...hahaa.... to print all my invitation cards!Printed 20 of them.
Also came up with the design of the map inserts in the evening and printed them all out but left the cutting of the maps till the next day 31 Aug liao.. cos it's getting late and gotta work tmr!!Next up shall be the Game scrolls. =)

Today is a rainy day, very suitable for sleeping.
I practically snoozed the entire morning and early afternoon, but of cos was being ‘disturbed’ by loud noises and woke up a few times.

I went shopping again at Tampines 1 in the afternoon with BB and bought myself a nice blouse from MULAN and also the NIVEA new extra whitening lotion..haha…cos trying to gain back my “fairness” after getting the tan from the OSIM Trialthlon sometime back.

When I reached home that night, I quickly did a start on my Shout-Out Display Board. Hee… I completed it before 12am..so I’ll leave it to the next day for some touch-ups!

Collection of Signoria Free Photo Album & Portrait Part 1 (22-8-09)

We were supposed to get our photo album and portrait from Signoria today.
And to all BTBs… I have some feedback to make about this bridal shop!!!!

Arrgghhh…. They have super bad customer service…yucks…..
They didn’t bother to give us a call to inform us that our album are ready for collection since 2 weeks ago until I called them up to check!

Oki… this is small matter..
but what really makes me fumed up is that when we went to collect, do u know what we saw?!!!

Our portrait picture is the wrong photo! It wasn’t the one we’ve selected!
Not only that, even the album pics arrangement order are wrong!... OMG… what sloppy work they have!

I have specifically told them during selection of pics time that I want my pics to be in certain numbering orders and the guy even wrote down the numbering order behind the pics.
He even made a mark on the pic that is supposed to be for the portrait.
DARN… I forgot his name…he’s supposed to be the graphic designer lor….

So I told him about their mistakes and he said will change for me but will need to wait for another 3 weeks. Gosh….
They have such differential treatments for lucky draw winners and REAL customers of their shop!
I bet they will sure treat the customers who spent tons of money at their shop compared to those who are on a budget!

Blehs… How will I even dare to recommend this bridal shop to my friends who are also getting married?
And they also ended up spending more time and money to re-do the portrait and album.

Belated Bday Celebration for Wiwi (21-8-09)

Went out with OCAS gang today and had dinner at AglioOlio at China Square.
It’s a cosy little restaurant outlet for spagettis. The food and price is reasonable and taste-wise is also not bad. =)

After the dinner, we headed out to Boat Quay’s pub for a drink and KTV with some games.
This outing is actually to celebrate a belated Birthday for our dear Wiwi.
She’s getting married next year in September! ^_^
I’m excited for her too..hee… don’t know if she’ll be holding 2 banquets? One in SG and another in Indonesia?

We did some cam-whoring at Boat Quay before we ended the day….yawnz.. I get tired so easily these days.. :p

Flowers for Guests' Tables Part 2 (20-8-09)

Today, I’ve finished doing all my roses!! All 129 of them!!

Ahhh… can’t believe it myself..haha..

Initially, I only wanted to do 88 flowers..but I mis-calculated and ended up with 129 of them..hahaha….

hmm.. but then, I haven’t do another maybe about 10 stalks of green ‘leaves’ yet.

Probably will finish them by next Wednesday.
I had to rush them out because I’m meeting OCAS gang tmr and gotta pass them to Sharon as she’s the one assigned to bring the items on ROM day. :p

Got a Shock at Work today (19-8-09)

Met BB after work at Raffles City cos I was telling him how sad and bored I was at work today. This was only my 4th day at work at my new company when I had a shocking news in the afternoon before lunch.

Gosh… My boss told me that he’s leaving end of the month cos just received news from Head Office that they want to ‘change’ management. Together with him, another 6 management heads are going getting the ‘axe’….
It’s just so sudden and so shocking…
I am also at a loss now becos I am not sure who am I going to report to or will there be any changes to my job scope…Sigh….

Anyway, I bought a red tissue gift wrap at Raffles City basement today for $1.20 after mom told me that some red roses will be pretty.
So I’m adding these red roses for deco use on the couple chairs at the Solemnisation table.

1st Meetup with Jenny of Copthorne King's Hotel (15-8-09)

We’ve an apptmt with Jenny of Copthorne King’s hotel today @5pm to choose our wedding favors, cards and table runners’ colors.
Before that in the early noon, BB and I have wanted to go to the “Da Vinci The Genius” exhibition at Science Centre.
But when we arrived there at 2+pm, the queue was so long and we queued for nearly an hr before we decided to gif up becos we won’t have enuf time to tour the exhibition. By the time we are able to go in, which will be 420pm, as we have to leave the place at 445pm.

Met Jenny and confirmed on the things… I requested her to bring my parents up to the Bridal Suite to take a look too.

Yesterday 11-8-09 was my last day of service with SIF.
Can’t say much about my feelings because I’ve only been there for a year and I’ve not developed ‘deep close’ feelings like I did with my colleagues in OCBC, except I’ve made a few good friends like Ms Xixi, James, boss and Ms xuanxuan (who left but we still kept in touch!).

I’ll be resting for 2 days before I start work at my new place on Friday!
Sigh… I really hate this kind of transition period especially when I have so many things on hand to do….
I just want to complain loudly that I made huge sacrifices lor… because I gave up on my Marriage Leave (I cant take ML in new company as policy states that I nid to be wif them for at least 1 yr before I can take my ML and it has to be taken during and for my 1st legal marriage… L ) and my entire annual leave (meaning to say, it’s been almost 2 yrs since I’ve taken any block leave…L )
I’m so sad.. Why 2 years u may ask? Becos for 1st half of 2008 in OC, I haven’t taken my AL, then Jun I joined SIF and wasn’t allowed to take leave till 6 mths later after confirmation and then now I joined new place and will hafta serve another 6 mths probation.. so I can only clear block leave next yr Feb onwards……
Which also means to say I have to postpone my honeymoon till next yr….SIGH… BIG SIGH…. But the only comfort that I have is that I will have 26 AL at my new place.
Gotta look fwd and not backward in life ya…

Anyway, Finally completed doing all the ROM wedding invites – envelopes!
All 30 of them..hahaha.. actually, I’m only required to do 25 envelopes, but I kiasu and did an extra 5. just in case, we decided to invite more ppl. :p
I spent the entire day cutting papers, flowers and doing all those pasting!!
It’s really no joke to do the envelopes… phew… it’s so tiring!

It’s National Day!
HAPPY 44th BIRTHDAY to Singapore!
Today, BB and I will be going to Asian Civilisations Musuem as he’s invited by the NS peeps to join in the celebration.
The event starts at 4pm and we reached at about 5pm before distribution of the goodie bags start at 530pm.
This’s our 1st time at this museum and it happened to be free admission for that day. J

Today, I decided to gather all the jiemeis at Villa Halia to let them have a view of how my ROM venue feels and looks like. BB was late that day, so I was the one who did the liaising with Elizabeth that day.

Liz was surprised to see me with a whole gang of girls and she joked that she felt “threatened”. Hahaa… Anway, we also learnt that she’s getting married in October and though she said she’s very busy these days, she managed to book all her vendors during the ‘dry run’ she had at the Villa Halia wedding showcase. Hahaa… But her vendors are quite on the high side, eg. She booked Clarence Lee as her makeup artist wor!

Just when the discussion was about to end, BB turned up. He was sweating all over
(p.s: He can’t find the bus at Orchard MRT that goes to Botanic Gdns..and so he ended up walking all the way there…hahaa…)

Liz then showed us the way to the Bandstand which she said she’d also be taking her vows there.
We took some pics before we disbanded and BB & I headed to Bedok to look at curtains with his mom.

We ended up shortlisting 1 vendor but we didn’t buy that day as the man would drop by at BB’s place the next day to measure and discuss on the quotation again.
I decided to take more photos of the scrapbook that I've bought..hee... quite excited about this scrapbook album....^_^

Photo Selection Day @ Moments Studio (2-8-09)

Finally, the day of the photo-selection for the wedding album came!
Out appointment with Moments Studio was 3pm and I remembered we were there on time but we didn't realise that our photo-selection would take so long...hahaa... and we ended up spending exactly 5 hours there!

We had to choose 30 pictures (a.k.a. poses) from the 300+ pictures. Woah... not an easy task ya.. BB and I were quite determined to only select 30 pics for the album and not topup any pages or pics unless we really really really like the pictures. So we created different folders in their pc and separate those "Chosen" ones from the rest.

I was not exactly happy with the service provided by Moments, probably due to 3 major factors:-
1) Was kinda 'pissed off' with their optical mouse which keeps turning off by itself. Sigh..later Kim who served us told us that it's actually running low on battery and they don't have spare batts!! So in the end, they had to take out the rechargable batts from the keyboard to charge for 30 mins before replacing the low batt mouse with them. Afterwhich, we are not able to create new folders in the pc as there's no batt for the keyboard. Sigh... (not a big issue though)

2) We were told by Kim that if we want additional full page picture Or Pose, they'll charge us S$85 per picture/pose. I then asked her how much will the soft copies (unedited) cost? And she said S$15 per photo.
She tried to come up with a package for us (she didnt hard-sell), i.e. we can choose another 40-45 pics (cant really rem what's the number already) to make it into another album. That means we'll have 2 albums in total and we need to topup S$2880. *faint* Nah.. there's no way we're going to fork out so much money for that!

So after we've selected our 30 pics for our album, we chosen another 30 more, working our sums based on $15 per pc.
After we've chosen the extra 30, BB asked her again how much would the extra 30 soft copies be. This time round, we were shocked! when she said S$20 per piece! WTH... how can she anyhow raise up the price?!!!
So we rebutted that it was supposed to be $15! Then she did abit of calculations before she agreed to that price. Yuckz.... hate this!

3) Then she told us that since we have 30 poses for the album, she'll arrange for the album layout design to be 20 pages. I was like "HUH? how can it be 20 pages??!! I don't remember seeing 20 pages indicated on my receipt/contract!" But I didn't say a word because I forgot to bring my receipt along that day.

When I got home, I quickly searched for the receipt and was THRILLED and yet ANGRY to see that it was written 28 pages (30 poses). And furthermore, since I didnt do any MTM gowns, I get another 2 pages/2 poses free.

Sooo.... yesterday 4-8-09, I called up Jenny and was referred to "Shuqin" of Moments Studio which I later found out that she is actually Kim herself. I told her my issues and she did a check and returned to inform me that in this case, I can either opt for 30 pages (30 poses) OR 28 pages (32 poses).
I chose the first one instead since they're able to do their own design layout for me and also I feel that I'd rather pay for a full page photo rather than 2 photos in 1 page kind of thing.

Ya..so those 3 issues are the turn-offs for me with Bliss Bridal Creations's photostudio.

Just also realised from ah hui that her bridal studio offered her ALL non-selected photos (unedited) for FREE!!! OMG.....on top of that, she'll still be getting her selected photos(edited) in soft copies too.. sighz... why can't BBC do the same too since they won't need those photos??!!
Otherwise, why can't they just let the remaining photos go to the couple at a very low price, say... $50????

Anyway..that aside.. we finally managed to take a group photo with Steven and Lihua! hehe..

OSIM Trialthlon 1-8-09

Last Friday 31-7-09, I met BB at ION Orchard to do some 'window' shopping before we went to meet his army pals.
We passed by this japanese store at the basement selling imported japanese stuff. hee... can't help but 'pestered' BB to buy 2 boxes of the japanese eclaire.. kekeke....

I haven't opened the boxes yet, so can't show u all the goodies inside. :p But don't u think that their packaging are very nice? hehe...

Then the next day (Saturday 1 Aug 09), I ended up with a sunburnt 'chest' after going for the OSIM Trialthlon which was held at East Coast Park.

Hope it'll recover soon cos it feels itchy and so red like a lobster... sob sob...

BB was tasked to do the 750m swim in the sea while his 2 colleagues are to do the 5km run and cycling.
I found it really amazing for those doing the swimming part because there were quite a number of 1st timers especially those participants who are women! I can't imagine myself swimming in the sea sia.... I'm a timid princess! HAHAHAH.... *but I can imagine those people's legs turning wobbly not on ground but in the sea, and looking like a jellyfish.. keke...*

BB was saying that participants for the next day's challenge would be doing the 1.5km swim which is double that of what he's swimming that day! Oh gosh.... that's such a super duper long distance!! *salutes those participants*

I tried to capture the 'wide-ness' of the 750m swim..but unable to do so..hahaa... anyway, the white floats shows the boundary and swimmers are supposed to swim outside the borders of it. The are within the boundary is for warm-up exercises.

Anyway, we went back at about 3pm and I finally bought my Scrapbook Album that evening from UrbanWrite! Woo hoo!! This scrapbook album is supposed to be my Guestbook too. hehe... So my next task would be to do some simple deco for the scrapbook as it already comes with made-ready deco-papers. ^o^

An-Chuang Bedsheets Bought (25-7-09)

Yeah~ Another thing done.
Have finally bought our new bedsheets last Saturday at Tampines 1!
I have been 'eyeing' for a pink color bedsheet from Co'zy for a long time already ever since I saw it on display at IMM. hee...

So that day, we bought 2 sets of King-sized bedsheets sets, 2 pink pillowcases, 2 bolster cases and 1 quilt for a total cost of hmm..... about S$345! Wooops..... that's the most I've ever spent for buying bedsheets..haha...
Alright..the comforting part is that one set of King-sized bedsheets that comes with 2 pillowcases,bedsheet and quilt cover already costs $300+..and now Co'zy is having discount.. ^_^. I bought 2 colors : Pink and White with light blue flower embriodery.. :p

ROM Invitation Cards Part 1 (14-7-09)

I started on the D-I-Y'ings of our ROM invitation cards' envelopes last tuesday.
Till now, I've only completed................ only 1 envelope!!!
HAHAHA....
I was actually trying to figure out what and how is the best way to decorate the envelopes. I've bought 1 pink and 1 blue wrapping paper and I was like kinda stuck with how is the blue going to combine with the pink paper nicely?

I had many ideas running in my mind but I didn't want to try them all out as I don't want to waste the papers...hahaha...
SO... I only did 1 envelope out to test out one of the designs...BB and bros all said it's nice..but I am still thinking whether could it be nicer?
If I have the time, I would definitely do more designs... but recently, I have been very busy... :(
New job's going to start soon too...
And arrgghh.... I've to find makeup artist for myself (morning) and moms on AD (night)!!!
I've also to start drawing out the timetable chart for the AD and inform my jiemeis fast...
sigh...

Villa Halia @ Botanical Gardens Wedding Showcase 19-7-09

Last Sunday, I made Brother accompany me to the wedding showcase since BB has agreed to go to Hwee Suan's house-warming party.

Bro drove me around Bt Timah and Cluny Hill's private property estates to oogle....ahhaha...and we passed by his friend's huge mansion and saw him sitting alone in the sofa of his room with back facing us and playing his handheld game. We left without notifying him cos we're already 5 mins late for the showcase. hee..
But somehow, I feel that though they are so rich, they're somehow quite lonely.. it's like living in a fortress..

Anyway, when we reached, it was just about time that they started their 1st presentation. There was a live jazz band playing in the courtyard and the place is really cozy.

I like how the Gallery room is being set up with orangey lightings... ^_^
Food-wise, tasted pretty good! Bro has too much of the semi-raw tuna till he had to go loo at the end of the evening cos he wasn't supposed to take too much raw food since his stomach is always so sensitive.. haaa.....

Each couple will also get a heart-shaped clay container as a gift after the end of the programs.
Overall, the event is considered quite successful :)

Photoshoot Day 17-7-09

I have finally finished my photoshoot last Friday 17-7-09!
That day, BB and I arrived at Marina Square and had our breakfast at Mac at 8am.. We left for Bliss Bridal shop at 9am because I thought our appointment was 9am.
When we reached the place, it was in darkness! I then realised I have remembered the timing wrongly as it was supposed to be 930am instead. hee... so we went to the Coffeeclub downstairs and sat there to wait for them.

930am sharp: The photoshoot studio opened shop on time and Lihua and Xinyan were already there. One bride was also already sitting there. Lihua is a very nice, pretty and chirpy lady and she asked me to go loo first afterwhich she started to do the makeup for me while the groom just sits and wait for his turn.. :p

About 1015am: Steven arrived and he talked to us about the photoshoot venues and photography styles that we wanted afterwhich, he then went to prepare the studio setup. He's also a very friendly man who knows how to crack jokes. We hit it off with him pretty well and I know we are in good hands as he has many years of photography experience (abt 10 yrs of wedding photography experience at least + in the middle of which he also took on commercial photoshoots for a few yrs).

I felt like a model that day because time is precious and I have 5 indoor gowns to shoot. haha.. and I gotta change my outfit and hairdo fast. I took pics of all my gowns and hairdo EXCEPT..... my Actual Day Wedding Gown and Outdoor Day Gown!!! SOBSOBSOB..... because we're in a rush and BB forgot to take for me.... Nvm lor... you all will get to see them when the photoalbum is ready :)

415pm: We got ready to go out for our Outdoor shoot. It was a cloudy day and it was not raining and so we're quite lucky..hehe.. and we 'zoomed' around in a Mercedes car with a chatty driver. haa...

First stop: St. Andrews' Cathedral

While shooting there, one lorry van drove past us and the passenger at the passenger's seat leaned his whole head out and shouted "CONGRATS!!!" so loudly, that I returned his surprised sudden greeting with a huge wave of my flower bouquet. hahaa... Then he leaned out again and waved happily back. (*^o^)

Then there was also an indian (foreign) lady who requested to take a photo of BB and I..hee...

2nd stop: Hort Park

This is my 1st time there at the hub and it was a really nice experience! I LOVE the greenery there and as it was not sunny, Steven said that this brings out the colors of the greenery even better! He showed us previews of our shots too and it was very nice.. hee..

I also like the shots at the spiral staircase...very very nice...and also romantic. :)

It was about 615pm when we ended our shoots at Hort Park and I then changed into my own evening gown which I brought along for the shoot. hee.. SO in fact, I have 7 change of gowns for that day!!

Hort Park has this baby changing room big enough for u to change your gowns and there's a big mirror outside, so it's very good!

Last stop: Clarke Quay

We had our night shoot at Clarke Quay and we were very much in time to capture the beautiful sunset nightsky with hinges of orange, purple and pink and blue... :)

Our night shots are mostly "COOL" styles, i.e. no smile...ahhaa... act cool lor... hopefully I don't turn out fierce... *lol*

About 745pm, we ended our shoot for the day and headed back to the studio.

Overall, it was a very nice experience and not as hectic and tiring as I thought it would be.

Me with my own 7th gown - Cheongsum style mermaid gown that can also be worn as a tube gown instead of the 'cheong-sum collar' hehe..This pic is taken after our photoshoot when we were back at the studio..

Just remember brides, to bring along 1 pair of slippers (which I wore the whole day because the gown practically covers our legs and can't be seen!! hehe.. and also it makes walking so much easier! I only changed into my black lace heels during night shoots when it revealed my legs..hee..)

Also bring 1 water bottle with straw, tissue papers, blotters too.

Other than that, nothing else to bring except yourselves and props (if any). heeheh..

For guys, just bring along your shirts (of diff colors which u think may be able to match the bride's gown) and shoes. The rest of the things like vest, tie,jackets etc are all provided by the shop!! I didn't know about this so I 'forced' BB to buy 1 silver tie as backup..hahaha....but he brought along 5 diff shirts to match me lor... =p

For brides, accessories wise are all taken care of by the shop. Just bring your heels and slippers will do.
And actually, if you're wearing covered-toe shoes, it's not necessary to do pedicure for your feet!! Otherwise, it's just a waste of money as really... you won't be able to see much of your toes anyway.
I regretted abit for doing pedicure..hahaa... my $20 just flew away for pedicure..:p

At least for manicure (which I did French manicure), there's some closeup shots of my hands..hahaha...

I was surfing the net today and found an interesting wedding favor which can be found under Personalcreations.com

I just find the cartoon images of the wedding party group so cute! And you can choose different designs of the wedding party ranging from pageboys to bestmen etc and tag a name underneath their cartoon pic! =p

This lets me thinking of doing something similar for an extra wedding favor..hehe...*winks*

I have just received an email from Villa Halia @ Botanical Gardens yesterday, informing me that there'll be a wedding showcase at their restaurant this coming Sunday.
This is their first wedding showcase, and there's going to be food tasting, a short wedding presentation and music to relax to, as well as a tour around its premises. ^_^

You can also find photographers who also are specialised in photojournalistic photography there! Of cos, I reckon they'll be giving special packages if u sign up with them that day! =)

I had my final gown fitting on last Sunday. And I'm allowed to take pictures of all my gowns..haha.. so here they are.. :)

Here's the version with the belt...haha..This is the silver belt..but I requested for a baby pink BIG LONG ribbon belt already...hee....but I didn't take any pics of the pink belt *pity..:(* At the same time, as I can't decide which color belt I may want to use..I also requested to take a dull green and this silver belt out with me for the photoshoot..haha...

The 6th light sweet pink evening gown for indoor photoshoot.. I initially choose this as my AD evevning gown..but later, I changed to the dark maroon one due to advices from friends and family =)
Okie...here's the ROM one which I WANTED SOOOOO MUCH!!!!! It's so nice.... BUT BUT BUT.... *sadz...* someone has already taken this gown for her ROM which is 1 day before mine... :(:( sobz....

Sooo..... I decided to choose this peach pink gown instead... sorry... the lighting didn't really show the gown's true color..hee....
Anyway, the gown has in fact a pretty long train..but Jenny told me that it can actually be 'shorten' (shown in this pic) by clipping the extra train to the back of the waist area (hidden with clips) hahaha...

After the fitting, we had a snack at Secret Recipe... here's BB with a BlackForest Cake..

I...think I ordered a Chocolate Strawberry cake (can't really remember the name...) hee...

Marina Barrage 11-7-09

BB and I have finally watched Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen, last Friday 10-7-09, after like 2 weeks since it's opening? haha...Anyway, I just want to say again, it is the BEST movie ever for this year??!!
I just totally HEART my lovable BUMBLEBEE!!

Found an interesting old cartoon picture of Transformers..*feels like I'm travelling back in time to my childhood days and I can still vividly remember the sounds they make when they transform..*Ahhh... I miss those days!!

Did you all realise that BumbleBee also stands for BB in short?!! hahaha...Gotta force BB to buy BumbleBee's toy for me, and to buy a sports car like BumbleBee's!! At the same time, to have the sound of the car lock system to sound like Autobots! Hiak Hiak Hiak~~~

Okie, Saturday, BB and I decided to go Orchard Road as it's been such a long time since we've both been there and we also wanted to see how ION and Orchard Central looks like now.
ION is really beautiful in my opinion and I think it will look even more beautiful at night. Though the passageway that links from ION to MRT is open already, the ION building is still not ready for biz yet.

Then we walked to Heerens and guess who I saw?
It's ZHANG DONG LIANG! haa...
Apparently, he's having a Qian1 Chang4 Hui4 there and I managed to take some close up shots of him :):)

Next, the 2 mountain tortoises went to Orchard Central. Wow...I was amazed by the length of the escalator. It's just like Illuma's.. very long. I didn't dare to take the escalator outside the building as I think my legs will grow jelly..haha..
Btw, they only have "UP" escalator and don't have "DOWN" escalator, probably because they fear that people will tumble down the escalator easily especially since it's so lengthy!!
Orchard Central is yet another modern sleek building with 7 levels?? I can't remember..haha.. except that there's lotsa shops, lifts and resting areas with comfy sofas.

After Orchard Central, we decided to reccee Marina Barrage (MB) since we've also never been there before. Another ulu place but luckily, there's shutter bus which brings us there. We took the train to Marina Bay station and saw th bus schedule just in front of the control station. The bus frequency is about 10-15mins with the last bus leaving MB at 9pm for weekends. ^_^

I think it's a nice place for photoshoot especially with a nice weather. That day, there were people having picnics and flying kites there. Great place for family outings! =) The Sea-view

3rd Gown Fitting @ Bliss Bridal Creations (9-7-09)

I called up my bridal shop to make a last minute appointment to re-choose my photoshoot gowns as I wasn't very satisfied with 2 of the gowns I've chosen especially the plunging neckline one. hee..

So last week on Thursday 9-July-09, I was attended by Jenny instead of Xiaofen (as she's busy with another couple). I told Jenny about my 'concerns' and 'ideas' of the gowns and she readily took out several gowns for me to try. I can't really remember how many gowns (mostly evening) I've tried..but it's definitely more than 7 gowns. haha...

I also managed to select a very nice evening gown, mermaid style and this will replace my previous confirmed pink evening gown. hahaha...

All in all, I will have the following gowns from Bliss Bridal Creations:-

2 weeks ago on Saturday 4-July-09, I went shopping myself and 'toured' almost all of central Singapore! hahaa...My objective for that day is to buy some of the materials for the ROM.

First stop, I went AMK Hub as I was told my another BTB that I can get faux flowers at a craft shop at AMK Hub. The problem is that day I forgot which level the shop is at and I just shopped ard while keeping a lookout for that craft shop. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find it..haa.. so I decided to walk outside of AMK Hub and shopped at its neighbourhood. I found nice deals for the stickers which I'm gonna use it for my invitation cards' envelops. Let me see..each sticker pack cost $1 and if I buy 5 packs, I get 1 pack free. hee.. so I have 6 packs of 3 designs!

Next stop - City Hall. Headed for Bras Basah Complex and reached at abt 430pm. Went straight to ArtFriend and was very pleased to find many nice stuffs suitable for DIYs!! Though, I can't find feather pens there...I manage to grab a heart-shaped styrofoam at abt $1.30 and white ribbons at $0.98! HAHAHA... saves me alot becos initially I intended to buy a heart-shaped baking tin for the pen-stand base which will cost me abt $8 or more..plus, I need to buy green plasticine to fill the tin before I can stick my faux flowers. Haa...so now, I have a cheaper version!
Next, I went to its Popular Bookstore and found really nice wrapping papers!! Think it costs me $1.20 for this very nice wedding wrapping paper! Was thinkin of using it for my base background for my display stand. hehe..or as a hanging 'tag' on the chair of the solemnisation table.
Also glitters and double-sided tape. Sigh.. wasn't able to find my yellow envelops for invitation cards.. :(

3rd stop, Bugis. haha.. the BTB told me that she also saw a push-cart selling faux flowers at Bugis. I roughly know which cart she was talking abt and went to search for it. She has nice sweet stuffs, but her faux flowers are so expensive! A small packet abt palm sized with maybe less than 20 flowers costs $12! Bigger ones costs even more! Haa..faintz... she also doesn't sell feather pens either..so I left Bugis again for next destination..

4th stop - Plaza Singapura's Spotlight. haha.. bear in mind, I've been walking to and fro all this while..my legs are beginning to ache.. *lol* I'm such a great walker "Johnny Walker - Keep on Walking" My right ankle has not recovered fully since I 'twisted' it accidentally 3 wks ago at Lau Pat Sat.. :(
I decided to walk slower this time round and before that, I bought myself a small tub of ice-cream as a reward..haha..

At Spotlight, it happened that there's a 20% storewide discount for that 2 days only and I was lucky! haha.. I bought a box of foam roses (15 med sized roses) at only $5.60 after disc! Happie..~~ I also saw that there's masks selling at $10 (usual price $19.95). Think it's a good buy especially for those which comes with feathers & deco in it. Too bad, I can't a nice one otherwise I would have bought it.. ^_^
I also tried searching for feather pens but can't find them but it's ok because I have a backup plan..^^ Bro also said he'll help me find. haa...

While at Spotlight, mommy called me and asked if I want to go Bottle Tree Village Restaurant with them for dinner. Of cos I agreed!! ahaha.. and asked them to come fetch me as my legs are aching so much.. *lol* But bro asked me to take MRT to Sembawang and they'll fetch me from there. Faintz..but it's ok at least I got myself a seat at Dobhy Ghaut station. ^^

It's dad's and mom's 1st time dining at this restaurant and they were amazed at how we're able to find this place as it is located at a very ulu place hidden far inside Sembawang. The good thing is that they said the food is nice here and so is the price. ahhaa...
we had Fish-head steamboat...yum yum!

Flower Hand Bouquet (27-6-09)

I've finally placed an order for my ROM hand bouquet with Mrs Teo Florist of Bedok 85 on Saturday 27-6-09. Have read forum people recommending her, so went down to take a look first before placing order.

Mrs Teo is a nice petite lady and her florist shop is just beside the fish aquarium stall in the market. I showed her some pictures of how I wanted my bouquet to look like and she's very nice to tell me which flowers should match with what and also advise me that perhaps during my ROM season, the flowers that I wanted may not be in supply but she'll try to find other suitable flowers to match the colors that I wanted.

The price she quoted was S$80 for the hand bouquet which comes with corsages for man, flowers for hair deco for the bride and flower petals for my bridesmaid as confetti. hehe.. She also showed me how the wrapping will be like, in which she'll wrap the stalks with silk ribbon with strings of pearl if I like. Very nice indeed. ^_^

If BTBs doesn't have any bouquets in mind, she has photo albums which she will show you and you can choose from there. (*^o^)> She also provide car decorating services if you like.

Choosing of photos for Signoria's album (25-6-09)

Signoria had called me up earlier on Tuesday informing us that our photos are ready for selection and would like us to make a trip down. However, they told us that we can only come on weekdays cos the slots for their weekends are full.
Anyway, I'm not sure who is the one who called me (either Lynn or Amber) but she doesn't sound friendly and coldly said I can only go down on weekdays cos all their weekends are full (Duhz...HArlow! I haven't even mention which weekend I want to go down lor.. I don't really like that kind of attitude. Pui~~ Blehz... (+__+))

So we went to choose our photos on Thursday 25-6-09. BB and I have come to an agreement of only die-die must only choose 20 photos cos we don't wanna pay extra since this is supposed to be a FREE package. Hahaa... While we are choosing the 20 out of about 150 photos, Lynn (the plumper girl) was like trying to sell us the package again and at the same time 'bad-mouthing' about our bridal shop when we told her that we've already signed a package with Bliss. Sigh......both of us can tell the fake 'acting' from her lor...that's why we don't really like to be attended by her. Furthermore, most of the info that she given to us esp quoting of prices are sky-high lor.

After we've chosen our photos, the "photo-designer" told us to choose our photo album cover. As expected, since it's free, the cover for the free album has only 1 design which is black leather. Haaha... if we want to top up, we can choose better designs. Of cos, we still stick to our original agreement and just went ahead with the plain black one. hahaa...*great that at that time, Lynn was busy doing the car deco for another cust outside the shop so didnt try psycho'ing us*.

So, we'll have to wait for about 3-4 weeks later before we can go down to view our photo design layout as the designer told me that they needed time to do the editing and designing layout.

I shall update again when I have the soft copy! hehee...=)

Kushinbo @ Jurong Point (24-6-09)

Haven't been following a strict dieting regime recently...OMG!!! especially when on Wednesday 24-6-09, Me, Yongxi and Meiling even went for a bingeing session at Kushinbo - Jurong Point!! ahahaha.... OMG....*eyes popping* It was ladies nite, so it's cheaper for us and I can't remember how many tempura prawns I gobbled down....hahaha....I'm really terrible!!! Shouldn't brides be controlling their diets? Oh dear... really gotta FAST seriously starting on Thursday!

Anyway, that whole day, me and Yongxi didnt really eat anything as we're saving our stomachs for the buffet in the evening. :p Then come the buffet time, we just "whacked' ah..haha... I am SOOO damn FULL after the session that I had to keep standing/walking for 3hours before I think I can rest so that the food inside me can sorta 'burn' away from the 'exercise'. ahhahaa....

Realised that they added Chocolate Fondue to the food selection too! Yay!! for choco-lovers like me. haa... I think the food that's worth to eat should be tempuras, Ginseng & Scallop porridge (I think this is really very nice..hee...), Alaskan Crabs, Sashimis and Prawns. *yummy*

I only managed to sleep at 3am that day as I was simply too full!
But................. HORRORs came the following day at about 6am when I just woke myself up with the strong feeling of MERLION'ING!!!!!
I quickly rushed to the toilet and became a 15mins Merlion. hahaa.... *Serves me right la..for eating too much* Faintz...
I guess this is the 1st time this yr that I ate so much. It's supposed to be an enjoying session but end up I'm like torturing myself..haa...

Okiez, so that's it, NO MORE TEMPURAS or SASHIMI for the next 3 months or so.. *blehs* (can hear BB objecting when he sees this...hahaa...)
And me and Yongxi really kept our word and FAST the whole day of Thursday! *lol*

Shiqing's Wedding (21-6-09)

Last friday 19-6-09, I had a gathering dinner with my buddies from OCBC Call Ctr at Marina Square's Dome Cafe. It's my 1st time there and I was very attracted to the layout & design of the cafe restaurant. Hee...*grins BIG** because I suddenly had a wonderful idea and hope it will work out!! (shall not say at the moment till next month...hahaha...)

Then on Sunday 21-6-09, I attended Shiqing's wedding at Merchant Court Hotel. I went for her solemnisation which starts at 630pm at Lvl 2 - By the Poolside, however, as there were limited seats, BB and I didnt mange to take good pics there. But the view there is quite nice expecially when it's sunset..^_^

I met some ex-jc friends, i.e. Yingxiu, Shihui,Wendy, Baoxian and Winnie (same class as me) and they still look the same or more beautiful even after like...11 years? haha.. OMG... a decade just passed like that...somehow, I felt nostalgic especially when looking at JC photos in the montage and it's like most of my buddy frens have either married/become mommies/mommies-to-be now.
*geez... next would be my turn... I think I'll most probably gonna tear that day!! (though I'll try to hold back my tears =p)

Wedding Favors : Photo Travel tags

So at our table, my 2 buddy pals - Yingxiu and Shihui are gonna be mommies in October this year! Their expected delivery date is only about 1 week apart..haha... And Guess the gender of their babies?? I'm PROUD to say I guess correctly by touching their tummies!!! HAHAHHAA.....
It's a Boy (to be named Ethan - Yingxiu's) and a Girl (to be named Kera - Shihui's)!! It reminded me of the song by Colin Raye - One Boy, One Girl. hee....
Next time, when they grow up, they can be 'match-made'. hahaha....

A little ice-cream treat (12-6-09)

On 12 June 09, BB came over to meet me and we caught a movie that night at Westmall.
While waiting for our movie, we had dinner first before we head for a little nice ice-cream treat at the corner of level 2, near Aussino.

It's a newly opened shop - UDDERS...hmm... hee... very similar to Ben and Jerry concept.
Anyway, they had many ice-creams, and some with alcohol!!! They range from lightest alcohol content to the strongest which is Rum & Raisin.
We ordered a medium alcohol content flavor ; Tiramisu + Cookies & Cream

The girl was kind enough to let us try out different flavours, including a REALLY nice one DURIAN..hehe... D24 or Shan Mao, to be exact.
Next time, I'll definitely take the durian one. ^_^

hahaa...they had tables very similar to Ben & Jerry's too. And I was amused by one cartoon picture on the table...Don't u all think it's a little .....obscene??!!!!! hahahaha..... *OOPS, dirty minded peeps you are!! hahaa... It's actually the milking parts of a cow 'falling in love' with another of a cow, just that their bodies are hidden underneath the tall grasses!* lol...

Cupcakes (14-6-09)

Currently, I'm also sourcing around for cuppy cupcakes for my ROM..
I have found and shortlisted a few nice and affordable ones... BUT as to how good their cupcakes taste.....this~~~~ I have no comments becos I havent get the chance to taste. :p

However, as most people would say... "Cupcakes are nice to see but not nice to eat lor"
Those pretty decorations are used either i) Butter Cream, ii) Fresh Cream iii) Sugar icing or iv) Marshmallow Fondant (which is basically sugary stuff again).

I would love to try the 1st 2 types of cupcakes, so am now looking around to see if those neighbourhood bakeries got or not..hahaa....
But a word of advice for BTBs, I was told that if you're having your solemnisation in the outdoors (especially if there's no aircon and it's a day event), then cupcakes with (i) and (ii) will not be suitable because the decorations will tend to melt easily. Cupcakes with (iv) deco will last the longest.

I met up with a cupcake vendor on Sunday 14-6-09 and she's a very nice lady who gave me 2 free samples of her cupcakes which she just made as she had a wedding order for that weekend and could spare me 2 cuppies for sample. (*^_^*) *delighted*

I must say her creations are very very nice and she's able to accomodate to my ROM theme and her price is reasonable too. ^_^
I've personally tried emailing one cupcake vendor which people are raving about probably because she appeared on newspapers before? However, she didn't reply me even though I've sent a few followups and there's no other way of contacting her except emails?
Anyway, that aside..I've also read reviews that her cupcakes are too over-rated... haa... whatever it is, how delicious something is also depends on the taste of an individual (you can't satisfy everyone...and there's bound to be some critiques)

Oki, back to the cuppies, I brought them home and took some photos first before I stored them inside the fridge as I was too full to eat them that day. =p
On Monday, I brought one of them to work and showed off to Xixi. hahaa... she also agreed that it's too pretty to just eat it away but ultimately, it still has to end up in our stomach!

I broke a few of its flower petals because I know it's gonna be very sweet to eat the whole flower deco. And true enough, even though it's a teeny-weeny bit of fondant, it's over-whelmningly sweet!!!! So I guess, the guests will really have to 'peel' away those deco if they want to eat the cuppies.
However, the good thing is that the little choco cake (that has nutella spread around its surface so that the fondant can stick onto it) inside the cuppy, is still soft and moist and not very sweet. So that's a plus point. *thumbs up*

Perhaps, I will discuss with her more on the cuppies!! ^o^

Wiwi's niece - Ella Beatrice Lee's 1st year Birthday Party (14-6-09)

Last Sunday, I went to Wiwi's niece's 1 yr-old birthday party!! She's just so adorable!! hahaa... She can even smile and 'pose' for the camera too....

There's mini Winnie The Pooh cupcakes and little packs of gifts to be given away to the kids that day... and *lol* Anna 'specifically' requested for 1 gift pack too !! And "ta-da", she got what she wanted PLUS a melody shower cap!! hahaha....

Think Ella was quite 'scared' that day perhaps due to so many strangers, so we didn't manage to carry her and take a picture of us carrying her, EXCEPT Seng Hwee...hahaa... but of cos, Ella was already giving the 'I WANT TO CRY NOW' look when I took a photo of him carrying her.
As for Anna..haa... I didn't manage to take a photo except of her passing the baby back to Wiwi/her mom becos Ella already started to cry liaoz... :p

Cookie Jars as favors for ROM (13-6-09) Part 1

Ever since Michelle Chia and Shawn Tan's wedding in May 09, I've seen quite a number of brides requesting to know either where to find the crystal bouquet that Michelle held on her wedding dinner 1st march-in and also on where to find those jars that she used as wedding favors.

As a princess, I'm of course attracted to those super *BLING BLING* stuff..hahaha... and I was quite gawked when I read that to rent the crystal bouquet, it can cost up to $500 for a day! *arrgghhhh..... sounds so expensive sia*
There're also imitations out there where people also tried to make and sell/rent the crystal bouquets to BTBs, costing $250+ I think... but of course, the size and Bling factor might not be as good as Michelle's one. Because hers is made of 999 real crystals!!!

Well...haha... as much as I wanted that bouquet and it seems so easy to make too... but dont think I may have the time to go around sourcing for the metal sticks and crystals and proceed with this DIY project bah... (hopefully, if I have the time, I want to give it a try!! =) )

Alright,back to the cookie jars..... I've found my cookie jars last weekend!!! Yeah~~~
They're going at 4 for $3.90 !! haaa....and it's made of glass and not plastic!
Phew.... at least, that's a job done...hahaha... but you can imagine BB carrying 7 rows of that jar back home...so heavy!!

Hopefully / Luckily, on the ROM day, we will have transport to ferry these jars to the Botanic Gardens..hee....

GSS Sale - Christian Dior Shades (9-6-09)

hee... Just a day after my Signoria Photoshoot, I went to buy the Christian Dior MIXT1 shades in pearlie white. I've been lemming for it for about 2 weeks and have been sourcing all eyewear shops in Tampines and Bugis and IMM!! hahah...
So far, the cheapest I've come across is the eyewear store in IMM - Blue Eyes U.S.A.
They're having 40% discount for branded eyewear!! *OMG***

Furthermore, this Dior shades is the 2009 collection...yeah... so I'm lucky to get it at a very much cheaper price!! cos most shops only offer 20% during GSS sales.. hee....

Me was deciding between either getting a brown shade or a grey shade..but finally decided on this grey lens because brother also said it's nice! Furthermore,the shop don't have the brown one so I don't know how does the brown one really look like in actual.

Anyway, another great thing about this shades is that the lens are photochromatic a.k.a. transition lens!! Woo Hoooaaahhh!!! ^_^

Signoria's Studio Photoshoot (8-6-09)

Went for the Signoria photoshoot on Monday 8-6-09. Earlier on, have told BB that I'll meet him at Tanjong Pagar MRT directly at 1130am. hehe... but cos I'm carrying heavy stuffs and wearing a fly-away flare white tube dress and makeup, I decided to take a cab down instead! *kekee*

As I reached TP early, I asked the cabbie to drop me off at Icon Village as there's aircon there. *lol* While I was standing there nearly the zebra crossing (under the shade..) and on the phone with BB, there's a man walking towards my direction (he's also on the phone) and then he stopped a few meters away from me.

I didnt really pay much attention to him until I've finished my call and decided to walk into Icon Village. I took a wrong path which I thought would lead me inside but actually it's to the toilets...hahaa... then as I was walking along the path, I saw from the glass windows' reflections that there's a man following me! Then I heard a voice calling out and I turned to face this man..... (gosh... I thought what....hahaa.. I thought my skirt has flew up or I dropped something.. :p)

DUHZ!!! The man said "Hi!! You are so stunning and beautiful. I saw you from a distance just now and I was attracted to you.. You look so glittery, you know..blah blah blah.. with such nice long hair..... blah blah blah (actually me wasn't paying much attn.. cos I was caught OFF GUARD!!hahahaha..)" As he was talking, I was moving further and further away from him until he said "Eh.. you don't so scared lei.. you scared, I also scared.." hahaha..... He then said "I'm Derrick, and what's your name? (hands out to shake mine..) If you don't mind, I would like to ask u out for lunch/coffee next time ya.. I work near this area too..."

... I then did the unthinkable (duno what's my mind thinking at that time..haaa)... I gave my number away... :s *lol* But don't worry... Princess don't think she'll meet him again!! haaa.....

Alright,so after he left, BB turned up soon after and we walked under the Hot Sun to Signoria. We cooled ourselves in the aircon room and do some touchup before the shoot starts.. hee.. The photographer (can't rem his name and the girl's...is it Amber? anyway this lady is the slimmer one...the other lady who attended to us previously when we went to confirm our free PG package, was on leave that day...yeah..hahaha..) asked me if I'm a teacher cos he said we brought alot of interesting props. *lol*

Anyway, the shoot was very fast.. lasted only less that 2 hrs - duno whether is it normal or cos the package is free so anyhow shoot or is it cos the PG is very trained and relaxed in such shooting liao.. So after that,we went to return our costumes before heading bk to Tampines. Gosh! It was really hot that day!

We had dinner at Manpuku @ Tampines 1. Yeeks... we ain't going back there again... cos the food is not nice at all.. (that's BB and my opinions) Cos the food's cold and not cheap...not value for money, I think...

Princess's Birthday 7-6-09

Was very busy over the last weekend... trying to finalise the props for the Signoria's photoshoot... ^_^
Have came up beforehand with a list of props to bring for Monday's shoot too.. hahaa... it's a whole big bag..gosh... so I assigned BB to carry the heavy 3 bags of costumes and I'll carry the props from my place and meet him at Tanjong Pagar straight away.

Yeah.. Princess never forgets her birthday which falls on Sunday, but she's very tired that day... yawnz.. BB brought me to Bakerzin to eat the yummy cakes..:p
I ordered the New York Cheesecake together with 2 flavours of the macarons (shucks.. I didnt really catch the long name of the 2 flavours though cos the waiter spoke very fast..haa...)

Believe it or not, it's my first time trying the full size macarons lor.. though I've tried smaller versions before...hahaha...
I don't know how to describe the taste of the creamy texture of the 2 flavours but they are both nice, though I still prefer my chocolate macarons.. :p hee....

After that, BB brought me to Chomel shop at Tampines Mall and he bought me a necklace with earrings set.. hahaha.... love them loads...:p
I can wear them for my ROM/AD/other future dinner functions too!

The previous night, we were shopping at Suntec and Marina Square where I've bought my NuBra set at $89, and BB has bought his grey pants for ROM from G2000 blu for abt $43.
We also passed by Chomel @ Marina Square and so I tried on a purple princess necklace and it's very nice.. I was tempted to buy it but was thinking whether could there be a better and nicer set at other Chomel outlets, so I didn't buy on the spot.

I went home and think about it and after thinking and having tried on various Chomel necklaces at their different outlets at Tampines, Bugis, Marina Sq... I decided to settle for the one at Tampines. :p Glad that I bought it and have just used it for my photoshoot on Monday. hehe...

Finally done with the Wishing Shout-outs. ^o^ hehe...

decided to give the 2 boards a serious make-over!!!

So I went to Popular over the weekend to buy 1 light blue and 1 light pink van-guard sheet.
The rest of the materials remain the same except that I've discarded the previous 2 triangle corners and replaced with my 2 new ones. :p hahaha...

Basically, I've changed the position of the triangle corners and trimmed the 4 corners of the main board.
On top of that, I've added a small box behind the board so that it can be used to hold the markers! *heh...* clever Princess sia.... Muaahahaha....

Sunday, I dragged BB for a haircut again @ Tampines 1. After that, we initially had the intention of only dropping by the SIMMONS and SERTA showroom to see whether are there any offers on the bed.

However, when we passed by SIMMONS, there was no customers inside and there seems to be no attractive offers too. So we walked 2 shops ahead and stepped in SERTA. To be honest, I've not heard of this brand before until I remembered I saw Xiaohui and Seng Hwee's new bed has the 2 infamous sheep toy! haa.....

The SA who attended to us was Claris. I was too engrossed at jumping onto the different beds and didnt really catch what she was saying, as I left BB to listen to what she has to say lor. hahaha... There were quite alot of different models that I really can't differentiate which is which. The bigger beds all looks and feels plush to me. *lol* I was attracted more to the Missouri and another model which I really can't remember its name.

Missouri's having a promotion whereby I can get a free upgrade to King size if I buy Queen, etc. On top of that, I'll get 30% discount + another 8% discount (which that Sunday is their last day of promotion) + 1 lucky dip (which we got another 1 free pillow) + 1 mattress protector + 1 sheep + 1 bench + 2 pillows + another 1 premium gift (which we got another mattress protector).
I'll need to top up another $699 for the bed frame if I want that too.

The price is affordable for us and BB bought on the spot. *faint* I was quite worried because we haven't done much research on beds yet.. but Claris said that it's better that we lock in the price first and should we see a lower price set of Serta brand next time, we can bring our receipt there and she'll reduce for us. (I know this is sales-talk lor... sigh...but then again, both of us like the feel of the bed.)

Anyway, BB only paid a small deposit.
When I got home, I quickly try to search for some info online. It was said that the 3 "S" brands are the most popular brands in USA; namely Sealy, Simmons and Serta.
Sealy won the award for " World's Best selling mattress" whereas Serta won the award for "We make the World's best mattress." Simmons on the other hand, is more popular with hotels which are using their brand of mattresses.

This is the Serta - Missouri mattress. (I think it's considered as a Pillowtop + Eurotop..Darn.. what exactly does this mea? I guess need to google again.. :p If I'm not wrong, pillowtop's referring to the layer of latex 'stuck' on top of the mattress..)

This set below is the Night Star Prestige Series... Looks posh and plush right? hahaha... I'm attracted to the bottom part of the bed frame that has those Martha Stewart's lace designs... :p

Wishing Shout-Out Boards (31-5-09)

Getting pretty excited now cos the day for the Signoria's photoshoot is drawing nearer and nearer! I've managed to finish 3/4 of the Wishing Shout-Out Boards on Sunday.

hee hee.. but you will notice the different color tones on the board VS the protruding triangle corner. *blush* I have used up my white poster color while trying to blend the pink & green color to match the boards lor...so no choice, the end-product turns out to be 2 tones darker than the main boards..hahaha....just make-do with it lor, and treat them as a design! hahaa....

The last part for the shout-out boards would be sticking the handles behind. I shall be finishing them this weekend :) Below are some pics of the shout-outs .

Materials:
1 Pink and 1 White based Cardboard (from Daiso)
Cardboards for the protruding triangle corners (couped from ofc's paper box)
8 toothpicks (for connecting the triangles to the main board, as a support)
Poster Colors (for painting the triangles)
Scotch-tape
Normal white papers (for wrapping the triangles before painting)
Transparent plastic wrapping sheet (those used for wrapping books as a protector)
Wooden chopsticks (for the handles)
Green wire (for tightening and connecting the chopsticks)

Pls ignore the protuding plastic sheet in the pink one.. :p
I will take proper photos again this weekend. The above 2 pics are just taken before I started to wrap them with the transparent plastic sheet and furthermore, I've made round cuts at the 3 corners. hee hee~~

Wedding Bridal Shoes (Part 2) 30-5-09

Saturday, BB and I went Jurong Point with the main aim of getting BB's ROM shoes which I saw going at a discount on Thursday when I was there shopping with a friend. (*^_^) hee hee.. then after his getting his loot, we just window-shopped around until I just went into the Anna Nucci shoe shop cos I was attracted by the bling bling shoes! hahaha... OMG** I don't know why but I always have an urge to buy some shoes everytime I step into a shoe shop and found pretty nice shoes!! That's why BB always try to pull me or 'block' my view from these shoe shops! hahaha...

Okie, so I ended up buying another pair of bridal shoes that can be worn in 3 different designs. *lol* I was thinking I shouldn't waste those bridal shoes cos I've seen some BTBs buying those super bling shoes and ended up only wearing them 1-2 times and off the shoes go -- standing hidden in the shelves.
The shoes's original price tag was abt $79..but I got it off a discount and closed the deal at abt $55. :p hee hee... but I got a free $8 worth of shoe strap to replace the satin strap which can be tied in 3 different ways. ^o^

So, I think this new pair shall be my AD shoes instead since my royal Queen mom said I shouldn't keep changing my shoes on the AD ~~ best is to wear only 1 pair of shoes the whole day :(:( (superstition loh.... then how abt BB?!! Does it mean he has to match his cream day suit with black shoes??!! Aarrrgghhh.... let me think of a solution again..:)

As for the earlier C&K bridal shoes, I'll wear it for my ROM. :)

Ohh, we also collected our Love & Co wedding bands that day! Love them..kekeke... Shall keep you all in suspense and let my ROM photographer do his job of taking pics of the rings! =p

I will be replacing the white long satin straps with leather straps instead. ^_^

Not as high as the C&K's shoes, but I should say it's a very comfortable height! ^_^ It's about 2 inches?

Love & Co Wedding Bands (23-5-09)

Last Wednesday, I received a call from Love & Co to inform us that our wedding bands are ready for collection. ^_^ *WweeEEee!!~~~
So on Saturday, BB and I went down to the Raffles City Brh to collect and try-on the bands. hehe.. when I saw mine, my heart was so full of excitement..haha.. because it's just so gorgeous!!!! The next thing to do will be to do the engraving. ^^

The SA told us that the max no. of characters we can engrave is 15... Is that true?? Because when I saw the receipt on which she wrote our engraving..there's altogether 20 spacing... :( BB said maybe the rest of the 5 spaces needs cost? DUHZ.....Anyway, didn't ask her why cos we've already decided on what to engrave and it fits nicely - 15 spaces, no more & no less.
It's quite hard to decide what to engrave on the spot.. so BTBs, my suggestion is for you all to check with the shop on how many characters are available first, before u go down to collect your rings. Of cos, if you're in no hurry, you can just tell the SA that you'll come back another day to cfm on the engravings. =)

So, we have to wait for another 1 week before we can collect our rings. heee.....

That weekend, I found a pair of white laced shoes from Charles & Keith, suitable for my AD. hee... yeah... and it was bought off a discount at $29.90 ~ Usual price $59.90!
BB also managed to get alot of things. Hahaa...it's like his shopping spree time! He found his pair of wedding shoes (Beige color that matches his off-white suit on the AD), a pair of new frameless specs which costs him a bomb (cos he was complaining tt it's his most exp pair ~ $260) and I also bought him a new wallet for his Birthday. (*^_^) Yeap, that's right, that Sunday is BB's birthday! haaa.....

The heels are abt 3 inches tall... =p keke... BB must also wear "high-heels" to match me too liaoz..hahaa...

Anyway, we've got so much to do for this coming week.. geez....getting ready for our Signoria photoshoot on 8 Jun (Mon). I've got to finish preparing my props..haaha... do some last min DIETING!!! whereas BB nids to go for his Dental appt and cut his messy hair.. *lol*

Talking abt props, I've accomplished another task! Ho Ho Ho~~~

I placed my camera pouch beside the 'ring' so that you can visualise how big this ring is.. hahahaa....

I was actually planning for a story-like kind of photoalbum for my Signoria's shoot, thus those props. =p I hope the photographer will know what I mean and want..so I'm planning to go early that day to discuss with the PG. Hope everything goes well..hee.. and once the album's ready, will post online in the gallery. =)

Painting House (Part 2) 17-5-09

Yeah~~ Finally done with the full house painting during the last weekend.

Now BB's only left with the 2 toilets' ceiling to paint and finding a vendor to make a new main door and the kitchen sink. *lol* sounds like a new re-vamp of the entire 5-rm flat. :p

The living room wall was painted with Rose White color, our room - Sky Blue color, MIL's room a light lavender-pink, BB's bro's room - a Mulberry color that looks like those Chewy fruity grape flavor color (*hahaha...Ah Hong and the rest were laughing cos it looks like a princess room) and cos his room is opp ours, so somehow if u stand outside in the middle facing both rooms, it really looks like the LADIES and GENTs toilet.. ahhaha...

P.S: this mulberry color is not chosen by his bro ya..hee.. somehow it's a combined decision of me, BB and MIL and he said he's ok with anythg though his initial color was a dark blue... =p

Didnt take any photos of the rooms yet cos it's very messy that day..hahah.. conquering both living rm and his bro's room in 1 day lei..

Furthermore, I think some paint dust flew into my eyes and caused me to have sore eyes that evening till this morning then it healed.. SOB SOB..

Oohhh... currently, I've been preparing a prop for my 1st photoshoot nx mth. haha..

Nearly done with it... now's only left 1 part.. can GUESS what is it? *lol*

Didn't do much on Saturday except meet BB at Bugis Kwan Im Temple to pray cos it's Vesak Day. Then we headed back to Jurong East to meet my family to celebrate Mother's Day. (*^o^)>
After the sumptous dinner, BB and I decided to go IMM to walk walk and shop around.

While window-shopping, we happened to pass by Mondo Shoe Shop and there was a crowd as usual there. *Girls ah.. can never get enuf shoes for their pretty feet.. haha... cos I always see a huge crowd at Charles and Keith too..yeah..* So it also meant I'm right and should go in too, right? =p Furthermore, I'm also looking ard for my evening gown shoes! Looking for something vintage to match my cheongsum gown ~~

Guess what? **Eyes twinkling**
I saw a nice lacey black vintage shoe on the rack 'talking' to me and luring me to pick it up!
So I asked for my size and tried and it fits very nicely! Although it's covered toe and won't be able to 'showcase' my 'fabulous' pedicure that day (*lol*), I think it just matches the gown perfectly!

Labour Day Long Weekend 4-5-09

A Long weekend just passed like that... it's sooo fast!! *whining*
Last Thursday 30-04-09, was Sandy's and Jacky's last day with the company. Yongxi, MeiLing and I treated them both to a Lunch fiesta @ Shin Kushiya - Far East Sq outlet.
Sighs...after Sandy left and Meiling's been trsf to another dept, I've been soo lonely here in my small ulu corner with Ms Xixi... BUT!!! she's going on a long 1 mth leave starting today, to study for her exams. :( sobs..

Anyway, All the best to Sandy, Jacky and Yongxi ya!! Do your best in whatever you're doing! (*^_^*) We shall meet again very soon!

Saturday, BB and I wanted to eat Subway for lunch as we were being 'rejected' by Chilli Padi Nyonya Restaurant earlier on (becos we didnt make reservation and turned up, expecting to get a seat... who knows.. they told us it's already packed with people who made reservation loh.. :( ). So we walked to Shaw Tower there.. but... Aarggghhhh.... there's no available seats at the Subway branch there because they were occupied by students who were mugging there!! *forgot that they having their exams period!! *

Me and BB were so hungry..haha... and so we made a detour to JK Don restaurant behind...Luckily not many people there... :p

House Painting starts! 26-4-09

Today during lunch @ Amoy, saw Zoe Tay. I was like murmuring "zheng huiyu, zheng huiyu" to Ms Xixi BUT she didnt hear me. Instead it was Zoe who heard me calling her and turned her head slightly, acknowledging my call-out. *hahah* so malu* ..
I wanted to take a pic with her but she seems like in a rush and went off with her 2 helpers.. haha... nvm.. better luck next time! But I have to say, she's really slim! hehe...

Oki, yesterday morning, we started our room painting works! *abit ahead of schedule but then again, the earlier we complete, the better cos will be one thing off our To-Do list*. ^_^
We were lucky to have the help of Ah-Hong jie and her brother aka BB's cousins to help us do the painting as well!
By the way, they're professional designer and renovation contractor. And alot of people say Ah-hong looks like our national pingpong player Li Jiawei, esp when we go to the market together, the aunties will ask her if she's Jiawei?! *lol*
Anyway, Thanks alot Ah Hong jie and cousin!

Our room is now a nice cool shade of ANGEL Blue... very cosy and aquarium-like.. hahhaa...
*happy* Even Xiao Ziqi (Hong's daughter) says our room is very nice!

I also bought a HelloKitty mini-fan and a Disney Princess fan @ Tampines 1, to bring out for my photoshoot. *lol* so cute.. shall post pictures next time. ^^

Cheongsum Gowns 23-4-09

Yeah... I've finally finished selecting my gowns last week at BBC.
As I realised that 5 out of 6 of my gowns are going to be those princess A-line or pong-pong types, I've decided that I really need to get one gown that shows off my SEXY figure!! *WAHAHHAHA..... hears BB puking at the back*

I've so then decided to get myself a cheongsum/mermaid style kind of evening gown as I want to wear it for my outdoor evening shoot. ^_^ *yeah*
I was thinking of a vintage/oriental/elegant kind of style for my night shots and I've short-listed some venues earlier on. These are The China Club, Lunar Asian Bar, Fullerton Hotel, Pubs at Clarke Quay..
My favourite will be The China Club... but sad to say, I've called them up and they said it's not available for public to take their wedding shots except if I'm a member of their executive club OR if i'm having my banquet there.. :( sobs..
Then for Lunar, the charges are $250/hr which is abit hefty.... Sobs again...
So I was fretting about where to take nice shots when suddenly Ms Xixi gave me a brilliant suggestion which I've totally forgotten about!
Since I wanted Oriental/Vintage style..she said to go CHINESE GARDEN! ahhahaa... Furthermore, I want sunset shots and also since Chinese Gdn is in the west and sun sets in the west, it fits Puuurrr--fectly! And best still.. It's FOC!!! ahhaha... *mad laughter*

So after the sunset "SUN-KISS(T)" shot, then we can move on to Fullerton/Clarke Quay to take night shots. *yeah*

Okiez, I was flipping through the magazine the other day in search of my dream Cheongsum gown and I chanced upon these 2 below..wow... I really love them especially the Hot Pink one.. *woo hoo* Sooo Sexxy ya~~ hahahah....

So, I decided to have it custom-made for me...I decided on the Hot Pink one but maybe without the long train cos I was thinking maybe next time I can still wear it to dinner functions if this gown is made without the long train so that it doesn't look like a wedding evening gown. ^_^ hee... *GRINs widely*
As the picture only shows the front part, I decided to draw the back-portion myself so that I can give the dress-maker a better idea..hahaa...

So here it is!!
I think I can be a fashion designer liao! ahaha.....
But it's my passion to draw lei... so feel free to write to me if u want me to draw sketches for u! hahaha...

This blue gown is very elegant and looks sophisticated! hmmm ^^

My fav is still this.. I think it'll look very nice in night shots! =p

2nd Gown fitting and DIY Roses 19-4-09

Yesterday, BB and I went for our 2nd gown fitting with ah hui. ^_^ Sorry ah hui to trouble u again and spend like 4 hours there seeing me doing the fashion runway show. =p

Finally, I have decided and chosen all my outfits and I've also confirmed with Xiaofen today regarding my actual day gown. hehe...
In total, I will be taking 1 AD gown, 1 AD Evening Gown, 1 Kua (for AD), 1 Outdoor Day Gown, 1 Outdoor EG (which is a long red cheong kind of gown) and 2 Indoor Photoshoot gowns. I decided to do away with those cheesy traditional costumes eg. victorian/korean/japanese kinds because I feel these types can be taken anytime at any makeover shops and better still, rent these from Costumes shops. *lol*

It's a pity that Bliss Bridal have very limited slim-cut aka mermaid cut EGs.. sigh... They only have 1 red, 1 champagne, 1 light pink and 1 greenish gold embroidered cheongsum mermaid cut outdoor EG for me to choose from. *double sigh* They say they have other mermaid cut gowns but they are all for indoor photoshoot. I wanted a slim-cut gown for outdoor because I've choosen THE CHINA CLUB @ Capital Tower as one of my outdoor venue for evening photoshoot, as I'd like to have a kind of Oriental feel to the wedding album.
Have sent the restaurant an email and awaiting them to reply me with regards to the use of their venue.

Basically, I'm thinking of a mix of Western style + Asian style fusion kind of wedding photography album.
Western style venue, I'm thinking of either going The White Rabbit @ Demphesy Rd or Hort Park @ Alexandra.
Asian style venue, which is The China Club @ Capital Tower.
I also hope to be able to capture a sunset shot at either Clarke Quay or some nice place which I've yet to think of. :( I want to have a photo of a "SUNKIST" --> Couple kissing shot with sunset as the background....
I think I shall discuss with the photographer when the date for photoshoot draws nearer. ^_^

Oki..talking about photoshoot, I need to re-choose my PS again as my AD gown is to be used for some model fashion show on the day of my previously arranged PS. arrghhhh.... Only left with dates in July le...

Alright, anyway, today, I have the whole lot of free time chilling at home and so I decided to start my hands-on on the DIY Roses for ROM. *hahaha*

*Sneak Peek at the ROM gown which I wanted very much ... BUT!!! alas.. BBC 'lied' to me cos the other time when I told them I wanted this gown, they said they're able to lend it to me but during my 1st fitting in end Mar, they forgot to reserve this for me. And so when I told them I wanted this gown yesterday during 2nd fitting, they told me this has been taken by another ROM couple for their 26 Sept ROM.. sobs sobs... luckily I found another...though I still prefer this one...(T_T)

Okie, for DIY roses, to start off, you need the following:
1) Nice Soft Wrapping paper which You need to cut into abt 2 inches width of straps. Alternatively, you can use ribbons.
2) Scotch-Tape/Double sided tape
3) Scissors
4) Chopsticks as the 'stem" haha ..I'm trying to be an eco-friendly girl!! So I 'couped' chopsticks from foodstalls when I eat out..hahaa....Ssshhh..dont let the stall owners know..:p

Taa-daa! The completed Pink Rose.. Is it nice? :p I think I still need to modify abit..have to buy green poster colors to dye the stem and some green ribbons to make the leaves :p

hmmm... I know there's so many photographers and videographers out there in the market and it gets really tedious for the BTB and HTB to choose..hehe...
So, I've compiled my list of PGs and VGs whom I've met or seen their works before.

To all BTBs, to get a better idea of how their work is like, it's better to meet the VGs or PGs in person..see whether can you click with them and interrogate them with questions..ahhaha...

For a start, you may also like to buy magazines like BLISSFUL BRIDES (if you have no idea what photography style you want OR you absolutely have no idea where and how to start on your search for VGs and PGs) --> 85% of this magazine is all about photographers and videographers lor..the rest of the 10% is on tips for BTBs on the planning of the wedding and the last 5% is about the different banquet venues.

For magazine like STYLE WEDDINGS --> I personally prefer this magazine much more than the latter because there's more tips on the wedding and stories to read about.

Alternatively, you can start google'ing your ideal PGs/VGs online.
For me, I like photojournalistic style of photography because I feel that the shots are timeless. hehe... Photojournalistic style, to put it simply, means more like candid shots. *lol* But I guess you need some expert who's able to capture that special moment at the right time and angle. =)

There's actually a WPJA (Wedding PhotoJournalist Association) website where you can find a whole list of photojournalistic photographers here. You can click here and find under Singapore : http://www.wpja.com

Other than photojournalistic, there's also another kind of style called Portraiture -> more traditional. ^_^

Happy Easter to all! ^o^
Friday was a public holiday, me went to meet BB and we went to explore the newly opened Tampines 1.
Gosh! It was damned crowded! It's like the whole of East side people just came specially that day and jammed up the whole place!
The queue was exceptionally long for this new and 1st Japanese Casual wear store in Singapore -- Uniqlo. *Horror*

As the queue was so long, I decided not to rackie the store until today 12-4-09 (Sunday), me and BB went there early at 11am. Haaa... but people were already queuing! OMG! However, it moved quite fast, so we don't need to wait for very long.

Hahaa... it was SPREE time again for me!!
I bought 1 grey jacket and 1 light blue cardigan, both amounting to $79.80. Not cheap sia but their material is good, I would say :)

I also bought 1 new pair of Bling Bling flats on Friday from Mitju and also a sunblock.

Saturday, me and BB went to Vivocity. I went to Daiso and wacked up some DIY stuff for ROM. hehee... currently left all these stuff at BB's house! I also bought a very nice cotton vest for BB to wear! Hahaha... his ROM outfit should be settled :p Easy task...hahhahaa...

BB also went to have his hair cut @ Twister, Tampines 1, today. It's nice!! hahaha... I showed the stylist a photo of the hairstyle and she knows who the person in the picture is -- Xiao Zhu! ahahha.... So BB, next time you can have your haircut by Faye liao lor! Somemore, you may be able to bump into Andy Lee (one of the bosses of this salon, a joint venture of Mark Lee, Quan YiFeng and Michelle Chia and Andy Lee), just like I saw him today! :p

We also went to see our new hse @ Punggol on Saturday night. *Surprised* I counted the time taken to walk from the MRT to our new place and it's only less than 5 mins. hehe...
They've already started the foundation works! *Good Good*
BB and I then took our time to walk around the neighbourhood..although it's very quiet partly due to the place has not been fully developed yet and also it's at night, it's still going to be a nice place in future I think. :)
Also, there's 1 direct bus which takes us within 10 mins to reach the 3 big malls - IKEA, COURTS and GIANT. This bus no. 34 also takes us direct to BB's house, so it's rather convenient :p hehee...

OKie, that's all for today...it's time to sleep again.... yawnz... byebye for now...

Weekend at Bugis's new Hangout 4-4-09

Recently, I've been having a really bad day at work. I'm just so angry with Ah Chew and my boss. Just can't understand the way they work, esp. Ah Chew... really....his work is.... UTTERLY Unspeakable... Sooo messy till I'm speechless...only he himself will know what he's writing and doing... Personally, I just feel that there's really no PROCEDURES in this company... and my boss is just exploiting me and my "talent"!! HAHAHHA..... BHBZ.....

Today is also no different from last week... totally SPEECHLESS..... okie.. dont wanna talk about work anymore...

Last Friday, I was so angry that I wanted to de-stress myself and so I met BB to watch a comedy -- DETROIT METAL CITY. In case, you all don't know..it's a japanese movie starring "L" from Deathnote. He's just so funny in this movie..haha.... and can see that he's really a good actor! I recommend this movie!! ^_^

Saturday, BB and I went to No. 1 Costume Costume Pte Ltd shop at 32 Aliwal Street. My plan was to rent Prince and Princess gowns from there for our Free photoshoot from Signoria. ahhaa... cos the prices that Bridal shops quoted us for rental of gowns cost $300-$400 excluding makeup which is another $200. So end up, I decided to rent gowns from costume shops and 'change' the album theme to fantasy and makeup on our own! (^_^)p

It was very fun trying on different costumes. The lady attendant was very helpful and helped us get alot of accessories for our 'makeover'. hahaha.... It was my 1st time seeing so many different costumes and I didn't want to leave that place and BB even had to 'pull' me out from there. hahaa... Anyway, we found each of us 1 costume and it only costs us $60 each with accessories!! Woo hooo!!!

After that, we walked to Bugis and also went to explore the new building opposite Bugis, which is beside Bugis village. Ooppss.. I forgot the name of that building... :p

1st Gown Fitting @ Bliss Bridal Creations on 28 Mar 09

Last Saturday, me went for my 1st appointment for selection of gowns with BB and ah hui.

Our apptmt was supposed to be 3pm, however there were like...4 other couples there too..goodness...and only 2 fitting rooms..

So ah hui and I just sat there waiting for my turn. While waiting, this lady I think by the name of Jenny came to attend to us and asked me to select bouquets for AD first lor. She gave me an album..many many bouquets to choose from so it made our selection hard too..ahhaha.. cos I'm not even sure which to select.

*People are like that -- if too little, they complain selection too few. If too many, they also complain and say very hard to choose.. hahahah *

She also helped me to select a date for my photoshoot which we had fixed it on 27 Jun Sat (9.30am). Actually, the whole of June's slot is full as they say usually June's slot are taken up by teachers as they are having their vacation period. Anyway, my final fitting of the gowns is set on 20 Jun (Sat 2pm).haa.. so no need to take leave...

I also asked her if I can remove one item ,i.e they provide their PG FOC for me on my AD, but I need to pay $50/roll when I develop my photos that time. Jenny said she's not sure and had to call Ruby up to clarify with me. After some negotiations wif Ruby jie, I told her I had won a Signoria Photography package worth $3000 but exclude rental of gowns & makeup, I asked her if I can remove my that item and changed it to rental of gown FOC. She discussed with her boss - Diana, and in the end, she said ok but I need to pay $80 (*^_^*) which is still a good deal because renting a bridal gown outside costs probably $300-400.

Ruby also tried to help me find a makeup artist but cos the MUA didnt pick up the fone and she also had to go down to 1st level to continue with her sales, so she asked me to ring her at a later time. ^_^ *helpful of her*

Oki, so I only managed to start going into the fitting room at 430pm to put on gowns! I was attended by Xiaofen. The 1st gown she gave me was quite nice (hands up for BB and ah hui too). However, the next few AD gowns are not that nice already...Xiaofen also said usually brides don't wear pure white gown for AD except those ang mohs cos of our skin color... hmm... wonder how true...

Then I went on to select my evening gown..I told her I like Pink and Blue colors...so the 1st gown she picked for me is royal blue...The color is very nice as it makes me stand out (XF said it's cos of my fair complexion).. I then tried 2 types of pink -- peach pink and light pink.. Both are very nice..but BB like the latter better cos it makes me look sweet like a princess.. hahaha....

*Dilemma again!!* By this time, Ah hui already left after she saw me in the 1st gown cos YJ came to pick her up.

Argghh.... so I have 2 colors to decide now...

Next, XF got me an off-white gown for the outdoor photoshoot. It's also very nice again..ahhaha...and she said can even further complement the design by adding a detachable silk ribbon (I can choose color).. ^_^

The 2nd gown I tried was not nice due to the 2 straps on the shoulder..

The 3rd gown is white in color and this is also very nice again...aaahhh....but abit on the heavy side...hehe... so end up, I selected the 1st gown again.

After I'm done with my selection, it's BB's turn. Guys are so easy..only took 15 mins to select!! wahwhawhahaw.... cos they can choose only off-white or black jacket. hahaha...

I wanted a silverish-grey jacket for the night but XF seems like don't understand me (cos think she dont understand english).... so I think I will ask again on 18 Apr (Sat) when I'm going down again to choose again with ah hui and BB.

This time round, I can let ah hui see and get her comments.

haha..If xixi and Hebe are free, they are also welcome to view too!

Goodness, after the whole thing ended, I realised that I only took about 3 hrs to choose ALL my gowns! So I'm abit puzzled..how some girls in the forum said they took the whole day (early noon to night) there... hmmm... or is it I'm too fast liao..hahaha...

Nvm, I'll take my own time to choose again this coming 18 April. hee.. :p

We had Fish & Co for dinner @ Suntec that night. Forgotten that that day is Earth Day.. so 830pm to 930pm, most part of Singapore will be off-ing their lights to participate in a campaign to save the earth.

So we had a 'romantic' dinner under the candle-lights..hahhaa....

Our Own Unique DIY Wedding Logos (Part 2)

Wow, last few weeks have been very hectic for me.. Even now, also..all because of MAS officers who will be coming on 6 or 7th April.

Anyway, I've came up with more backgrounds for the logo. ^_^

And I think this time round, I can have the option of choosing 2 colours.

Went to HDB to submit some documents on 14-Mar-09 (Sat), and then while I was there alone... I went to take some photos of my new "palace"! =p hee... so that you all can visualise how it is like!

Am also delighted to learn from NaNa that her friend has also went down to select the flat and hers is Blk 288A which is in front of mine! Yeah~~~ I've a neighbour! NaNa ..remember to intro us ya... hee.. then next time do drop by our palace to play mahjong/have tea parties! Yiippeee ^o^

Yeah! Me am happy that we've finally gotten our own flat! (*^_^*)
We were invited to go down to HDB to select a unit for Punggol Arcadia yesterday 2-March-09 (Monday).
hmm... though there were only 465 units offered and our Q number is 553, we were lucky that there were still 90+ units left over for us to choose from.

But of course, we don't have the luxury of choosing high levels but we managed to choose one which is on the 4th storey corner unit. *hahah*
Nonetheless, I'm excited cos even storeys come with planter beds! Yeah~~~I want to plant flowers! ^^

The estimated completion date will be in Feb 2013..seems far...but not too far from now lei..haha...

Our Own Unique DIY Logo

Heh... I've already started out on my DIY'ing of stuffs for the BIG day..

First off, is the LOGO =)

Muahaha... Our own unique Logo is finally OUT!!

Gosh..it took me 1 day to draw and another 2 days to 'color' them...haha...but am really PLEASED with the results. Cute right?

Version 1 is the initial draft.

But after I saw the completed look with color on it, I thought to myself that I'm still not satisfied with my dress cos it looks plain ya? Ella aka Ms Yongxi, was the 1st to see it, and also agreed it's plain.. sooo... Me started again with Version 2!

Guess where I get my inspirations from? hahaa... It's from the PM figurine that BB gave and also from bridal mags.

After completion, next is to select my background and find a shape to encircle it. Ella suggested "Heart" shape but sigh, the border of the Heart shape is too thick after trying it at home , so I settled with the Circle one.. ^_^ Means Yuan2 Man3 - perfect love with no ending. *sounds cheesy ya?* hahaha....

Valentine's Day 2009 part 1

Where did you all go to on St. Valentine's Day this year?(*^_^*)

Yesterday was a day whereby I saw so many couples all coming out on the streets..gosh..hahaa....They're everywhere! You can see girls carrying bouquets of flowers, and GUYs too..hee.. They poor thing, have to carry girl's bag and flowers too, on that day. What to do? It's practically a GIRL's day mah.. haa....

BB asked me to meet him at Suntec City's Giordano @ 5pm. He only came at 535pm!! argghh... anyway, while waiting for him, saw a funny thing! It's a pity that I forgot to take photo of it..hahaa...because I was busy laughing my head off. You know what? I was standing and waiting outside Giordano's manequins' display window there beside IORA. Then 1 family walked past and the little boy was giggling and pointing to his sister to look at the manequin beside and behind me. His sister glanced towards his pointed direction and giggled out loud. I was so curious and thought what happened and so looked behind lor..

HAHAHAHA.....

It's actually the "MALE" manequin's pants has been either "pulled down" or "dropped by itself" to below his knees. hahaha... It looked so funny even though it's not a real man's! Saw a few more family/couple/friends walking by and said "Hey, his Ku4-Zi3 diao4 liao3" haha..

I decided to move away from that place cos if people anyhow take photos of me wif that manequin, then DIE liao lor..it'd look as if I'm the suspect!! ahhahaa....

Oki, finally BB arrived and looked apologetic. Me wasn't really angry la cos I know he's rushed down from his workplace to meet me. =p

So, the next place we went to was to explore LOVE & Co's wedding bands since I read from forums that theirs are very nice and they've wide selection of bands. Well, their place is really sooo beautiful and fit for a Princess like me. MUHAHAHA.... I especially like their big chandeliers which are hung at the center of their showroom.

One thing I like about Love & Co is that their SAs are friendly. :) Calvin (from Suntec's outlet) was the one who attended to us. We saw a couple of rings which we like alot. Me shortlisted 2 rings for myself - a chanel setting with diamonds surrounding half the band, and another one with 3 rows of diamonds surrounding half the band. If I remembered correctly, was quoted S$1728 and S$1200+ respectively. Calvin wrote the models for us and we told him we'll shop around first before making the decision. It's great there as we don't feel being "pushed" to buy. (^_^)p

As we left, I saw 1 pair of chunkier WBs which looked like those which Kings & Queens would wear as they're very BLING BLING! haha...BB said we can go in to try again but I told him nvm next time bah. So he brought me to the surprise venue for dinner..

His surprise venue is none other than Hog's Breath Cafe @ Chijmes. The 1st time we went there was last year's 3rd anniversary and the experience was good as the food was very nice. =)

Yesterday's menu was a 4-set course dinner.

Very thick Cod Fish.. hehe... so delicious! It's definitely so much better than Big O's Cod fish which is only half its thickness!! *Slurp Slurp*

Eh... missed out on the soup part..but there's nothing much about the soup..just vegetables wif sliced chicken meat pieces..hee... and waiters forgot to serve us soup until we've finished our main dish...haa... but lucky lor, cos if we drank soup first, then we surely won't be able to finish the main dish. ^_^

Here's the dessert! Another great combi of Cold icecream with Warm cake..tastes like butter raisins cake..

Ahh... here's the main SURPRISE of the day.. haha... presenting the PRESENT from BB!! Taa-Daa... it's a raspberry cheescake which he made himself! *lol*
He was telling me not to luff at him before I open to see what it is. Cos.. he said other people's cake are concave whereas his... is *Convex on the top part..haha..

*means the top part of the cake sinks in abit in the middle..hahah...
But nonetheless, it's still a wonderful great effort from BB though I know he's got a scolding from his mom and sister for messing up the kitchen!

After the wonderful meal, the waiter gave us the feedback slip to fill up, and look.... BB is busy filling it up.. *THUMBS up*

After the meal, we walked to Raffles City and passed by Love & Co again..haha.. so this time round, still "gian-ning" the chunky royal rings, we went in to try them out and were served by this nice chatty SA - Floribelle. She's from Philippines and just came here to work 2 mths ago wif the initial thought of joining her husband to work in SG. However, just last mth, her husband was retrenched... :( and her eyes teared abit when she talked about her 10-yr old son whom misses her very much. Anyway, since her hubby has airlines experience of 8 yrs, we told her to ask him to try out SIA lor.. hope everything'll out for her as her hubby (who flew bk to philippines after retrenched) and son will be coming to visit her 2 weeks from now! (^o^)m

Alright, back to the rings, well... it didn't look so nice on our fingers and I think it wasn't practical lor..cos it's really chunky! haahaa...but BB did choose a simple white gold glossy surface band for himself after trying and finding that yellow and rose gold rings doesnt reaully suit his skin color..haha... and worse are those with diamonds! *lol* So, I think diamond rings shld still be left for the LADIES!! *lalalalal*

After the visit, we walked down to Esplanade and couldn't find "The V Tea Room". Could it have changed its name to "The Cookie Musuem"? hmm.. cos I always thought that place's The V Tea Room..
Well, there's a public singing performance @ the public stage outside Esplanade near the sea. Very nice...sitting there, listening to songs wif gentle breeze blowing against your face..=)

Villa Halia @ Botanic Gardens

Happy Chinese New Year to all! (*^_^*)

It was so busy for us for the whole of last month... hehe.. busy preparing for Chinese new year and also the spring cleaning. This year's new year passed so quickly and it seems like we did not have time to fully enjoy it. ah... well.. happy times always passes so fast! haa... :)

Well, this year, it is the first time I ever received an Ang-Pao on my 1st day of work from my boss! hehe... I've been working for about 5 years already, imagine that! And this comes from my new company's boss - Bridget. She's such a funny and jovial lady. You should see the way she walks to catch her bus after work every evening, it's just so cute..like a cute penguin. *giggles* :p And of cos, sometimes her words just made me laugh and they brand me a "laughter-box/self-entertainer." haa....
Anyway, it's back to work soon and we have quite a lot to do for this year, seeing the fact that we have 3 less staff in my department.

Oki, enough about work.
BB and me went to *racki* Villa Halia's Gallery room yesterday. We walked such a long way from orchard mrt station to Botanic Gardens. *grumbles* My left foot is having a bad blister after that long walk because the VAIN me wore my new cream-pink heeled shoes lor.. haha...
Nevertheless, it was worth it, I think, because BB said it's his first time ever to visit Botanic Gardens and he very much like Villa Halia, esp. the wine bar.

It was a pity that I didn't manage to take photos of it but there's photos on their website which look exactly in real. Just google Halia restaurant. =)
We missed meeting Lydia (1 of their wedding planner who just left a few mins before we arrived as we went there w/o an appointment), but the lady who attended to us is very friendly and showed us around the place even though there were some people having a small meeting inside its Gallery room. hehe...

She told us we could arrange for our solemnisation to be held either in the Gallery room, or the Courtyard where there's a small waterfall-like structure, or in the Wine Bar. BB suggested that we have our solemnisation in the Wine Bar (which looks very cozy) in the early noon before they open for business first , afterwhich we shall proceed to the Gallery room for the set lunch. I shall have to discuss with our wedding coordinator - Elizabeth regarding this. Hope they allow it w/o any additional cost. hee....

Early Christmas Party @ Seng Hwee's Hse

Sigh..feeling kinda unwell recently..bloatedness...suddenly this thought keeps flashing across my mind -- "Being Healthy is the Route to Happiness and Fortune!"

Oh ya..anyway, I've openly hinted to Dar that I want Precious Moments figurine for Xmas present..haha... It's the "Happily Ever After" Prince and Princess Couple.. Actually, I'm having a hard time deciding on whether to get this or the other "You are my Dream Come True".. Both are equally gorgeous! Boss on leave starting today

Sigh.. my boss's on leave starting today..and work's piling up..gosh.. not sure whether is it because the other dept's people are taking advantage of this period and trying to make my miserable dept (only left me and uncle) to do so much work! Arrgghhh~~~

So busy today and uncle's not helping me much either.. cos it's been a long time since he type letters of offer, so can't blame him much..

Anyway, been trying to find nice venues for solemnisation recently.. tight budget...haa... so hard to find...quite like Mandai Orchid Garden but need 50 pax at least..
Shall keep finding...

I got a 'surprise'! present yesterday on my table when I came in for work.. Guess what? It's a potted Money plant from our beloved Ms Yongxi!! But --But --But!! It's not a gift for me..haha... it's a gift for me to take care of her baby plant! *faint*
Okok, Ms xixi, I'd take good care of it and feed her water every other day while you are enjoying your vacations in HongKong ya.. heeheh.. just buy me real presents when u r back!

Happenings for the past week

Today, just came upon this website of a girl who has had her dream wedding ROM recently. It just gave me the inspiration to have my very own dream wedding too. I've always wanted a Pink Princessy Garden theme for my wedding. Since ROM marks the official changing of my status, I want to have a special and unforgettable time for that day. Have shown BB the website and he said ok with my request. hehe... So from now, I want to create entries in the blog for my wedding preparation, showing my accomplishment of the props which I'd be "DIY'ing" myself and him. yeah...

Anyway, here's some pics for last friday's buffet dinner at Shangri-la - The Line. OMG! The desserts are to die-for...I especially love the strawberry shortcake which absolutely melts in my mouth deliciously. ahhh~~~~

Bad day

Bad Monday to begin with... announcement from management that they'd be taking away my 2 other colleagues to the Risk dept...and I'd be left all alone in the isolated corner... no one to talk to.. so lonely... only left Yongxi... :( so sad... more work will be added to me too becos of this... sighz....

no choice.. times are bad..

anyway, 31st oct's Halloween. And we had great fun partying at Zouk! It was my 1st time dressing up in costume and walking along the streets of Singapore. hahaha... exciting and cool to be a different person for a day! ^_^

It's so crowded @ Zouk, many many funny,interesting and scary characters there. Sandy was so brave and initiated a chatup wif 2 guys.. so that we can get into the place quick. Haa... cos the Q was so long outside.

We partied till 4am in the morning and the girls were totally wasted. Sandy drove us back home and oh dear.. it was raining heavily in the west side when she sent me home. Anyway, pictures can be found on my facebook a/c. :)

Office's pc sprang to life again!

haha.. After spending 2 boring business days without pc at work, my pc is finally working again!! Yeah!~~ So happy that it's back because my personal files and folders are all stored inside its hard disk! I need a backup quick!

It's darn boring without pc at work... Worse, there's no spare pc for me to use and I can't surf the internet OMG~~ it just went dead last friday in the evening.. and IT told me the fastest the IBM support can come to fix it will be this tuesday. Phew... they're finally finished with it after I kept bugging them with phonecalls. haha...

Oohh... I've uploaded pictures for last friday's outing @ Seng Hwee's new nest in SengKang.
We had a few games of poker, 5-10, heart attack etc.. and the punishment for losers will be to use the clothes-tag and pin our ears!! hahaa...

Anyway, CONGRATS Senghwee for your wedding! Sorry that I can't make it for that day cos I've another wedding to attend to.. :p

It's been some time since I logged on. ^^
hehe.. kinda busy again lately. I know it's the same old excuse again! haha..

anyway, today, I was not feeling so well. Have been getting giddy spells since 2 days ago. Perhaps it's due to me trying to slim down? haha...
I'm so excited!! I can't wait for Halloween!! Sandy, Yongxi, Liz and her sis and I are going to head down to Halloween's party at Zouk on 31st October! Woo piieeee!!!

I've decided to be "Alice" from Alice in Wonderland. hahaa... I hope I won't look weird with black hair.. *imagine a black haired Alice* :p
We're now waiting for our costumes to be shipped over from U.S. and really hope it'd reach us in time! We placed our orders on 12 oct i think.. and YX said today that they're going to ship over to the FedEX address.. *pray pray*... really hope it'd reach us next Tuesday or Wednesday!!

Wow... it seems that starting from this week onwards, all my fridays are packed with activities! hahaa.. I'm happy but hehe.. come to think of my poor pocket .... :p

Oh, today, I submitted my application to become an Ettusais girl.. haha... Not sure if I'll get it because I think there's tons of pretty girls out there who's also vying to become one. ^_^
