Punggol Arcadia (Part 2) 12-4-09

Happy Easter to all! ^o^
Friday was a public holiday, me went to meet BB and we went to explore the newly opened Tampines 1.
Gosh! It was damned crowded! It's like the whole of East side people just came specially that day and jammed up the whole place!
The queue was exceptionally long for this new and 1st Japanese Casual wear store in Singapore -- Uniqlo. *Horror*

As the queue was so long, I decided not to rackie the store until today 12-4-09 (Sunday), me and BB went there early at 11am. Haaa... but people were already queuing! OMG! However, it moved quite fast, so we don't need to wait for very long.

Hahaa... it was SPREE time again for me!!
I bought 1 grey jacket and 1 light blue cardigan, both amounting to $79.80. Not cheap sia but their material is good, I would say :)

I also bought 1 new pair of Bling Bling flats on Friday from Mitju and also a sunblock.

Saturday, me and BB went to Vivocity. I went to Daiso and wacked up some DIY stuff for ROM. hehee... currently left all these stuff at BB's house! I also bought a very nice cotton vest for BB to wear! Hahaha... his ROM outfit should be settled :p Easy task...hahhahaa...

BB also went to have his hair cut @ Twister, Tampines 1, today. It's nice!! hahaha... I showed the stylist a photo of the hairstyle and she knows who the person in the picture is -- Xiao Zhu! ahahha.... So BB, next time you can have your haircut by Faye liao lor! Somemore, you may be able to bump into Andy Lee (one of the bosses of this salon, a joint venture of Mark Lee, Quan YiFeng and Michelle Chia and Andy Lee), just like I saw him today! :p

We also went to see our new hse @ Punggol on Saturday night. *Surprised* I counted the time taken to walk from the MRT to our new place and it's only less than 5 mins. hehe...
They've already started the foundation works! *Good Good*
BB and I then took our time to walk around the neighbourhood..although it's very quiet partly due to the place has not been fully developed yet and also it's at night, it's still going to be a nice place in future I think. :)
Also, there's 1 direct bus which takes us within 10 mins to reach the 3 big malls - IKEA, COURTS and GIANT. This bus no. 34 also takes us direct to BB's house, so it's rather convenient :p hehee...

OKie, that's all for today...it's time to sleep again.... yawnz... byebye for now...

Hope you have enjoyed the sumptous meal at Dian Xiao Er @ Vivocity, just as much as I enjoyed myself there. haha... It's my 1st time eating at DXE lei!! But really... the duck is nice... and also the yummy dishes! *slurp slurp* Thumbs up!

Managed to also buy my Forest Fruits Black Tea Infusion (Lipton) at Giant.. hmmm~~~ It smells sooooooo nice~~~ (^__^) and sweet.... hahaha.. my whole bag rigging of the sweet scent of forest fruits...

Kick-starting for the DXE dinner..hee....the 1st dish is ---- PEANUTS! hahaha

Saturday @ Vivocity

Was out at Vivocity with BB on saturday 15-3-08.

We watched "THE SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES".. I would say, I'd give it 4 stars out of 5. It's an awesome one especially since I love movies that involve magic/fantasy stuffs. hee... ^^

Do catch it when you have the time!

One thing I must say, Freddie Highmore (the child actor) did an excellent job playing the twins! He's able to portray the twins with different personalities very well!! Amazing young actor who has a good future ahead! ^^

Before the movie, we had some free time, so had lunch at Marche. I quite like the ambience there and it has a 'country-cottage style' furniture theme, and I find the 'cow skin' chairs very cute! hahaa... See below for some cam-whoring!! hee ^^

Then, that day happened to be a COSPLAY day. Event was held at the open space on the top deck of Vivocity. hee.. Din take pics with those people cos it was so hot!!! But took some secret shots of them..haa...

After movie, we ate dinner at KIMGARY Restaurant. It was forever so long queue.. but it was quite fast. Managed to get a window seat but it was so packed and we were practically sharing tables with another couple! Darn~~!

Food-wise, not bad and price reasonable.

Sunny Friday

Wow..so fast.. it's Friday again!

For the past few days, it's been raining and raining for the whole day.. and the temperature at night is so cool..or rather cold I would say cos it's 22 deg or so. It's reported as the lowest temp in Singapore for the month of March in history.

But this morning, Mr Sun is back again! (*^_^) Glad that it came back becos our clothes are so hard to dry with the cold weather and mom's grumbling..hahaa...

Today's a good day and managed to settle the matter with the staff and hope everything will be fine! Glad there's no hard feelings ^^

Gees, Wiwi's going back to Indonesia and clearing her block leave there. We're going to MISS you!! *hint hint* Donuts ya.. hahaa...

Met her boyfriend at Coffeebean waiting for her during lunch and we called out "AMIN! AMIN!!" But there's no response from him..haha.. abit malu...so we went up to tap him on the shoulders. :p Luckily he can still recognise us.

Oh well, today's office, there's "no government".. haha.. cos all the big bosses are not in office, either on leave or in Penang's office. So abit more relaxed.

Gathering with Cynthia and gang was cancelled cos a few can't make it. Even I was having dizzy spells earlier in the morning.. *must be the new contact lens that caused me giddiness* :(

But was better in the noon..

yeah, tmr can meet BB! Today's his last day of work with Hitachi and he's going to start new job on Tuesday. Whoopppee! Tmr's going to watch "The Spiderwick Chronicles" at Vivocity. Will review it here again. ^^
